Firooz Karimi has turned Gostaresh Tabriz fully around. I am really impressed with his team's sudden change and such good improvement. Beating Padidhe in Mashhad by 2 goals, while wasting at least 3 more scoring chances is amazing!

Esteghlal also seemed to have played a real nice game. They're under Shaefer have been doing better week after week. I speculate Perspolis winning the trophy, while Esteghlal clinching the second spot. Don't see Parse Jonoobi keeping up their great start all the way through!

Alipour scored both goals and has 10 league goals. His finishing improved so much.
With this win, we are 7 points in front of Pars Jonoobi.

Hosseini is a blessing for our team. We haven't conceded a single goal in the last 8 games.

As much as I like Mensha, but he obviously struggles against stacked teams and doesn't hustle much compared to Taremi.

^ See this is where I’m very curious as to what Carlos is thinking when he invites Alipour and Alipour performs well for Team Melli. Mehdi Taremi was a crucial piece in our 2018 WCQ’ing campaign. One wonders since he’s suspended if Alipour will get his spot in Team Melli. Of course Alipour will first have to be called up, coached, analyzed in the trainings/camps and in the friendlies.

The point is, it really sucks what happened to Taremi. But it’s his fault because he did this to himself.

Alipour has been wonderful this season. Really a pleasant surprise, because usually he's been a bad finisher.
I don't know if CQ will invite him considering he didn't make any camps until now, but maybe there is a small chance if he keeps it up.

Alipour needs a call up now. He is the fastest striker we have and would useful in the last 20 minutes for a game against a team like spain or Portugal where we have defended all game and look to create something on the counter.
