Also, the pk should have definitely been retaken, since the Padideh player who kicked the ball away in the rebound had already entered the penalty box for a few meters before Ebrahimi had taken the pk.

haha Im a perspolisi but that penalty should be retaken, this is so bad for our league, the low level of refs. and also we need a team to compete against, its so lonley up there without ss and sepahan

What Padideh played was totally different from what Gostaresh "played" yesterday. They went for the win until they gassed out after 75 minutes. All in all, it was one of the better 0-0 games. Both teams could've won.

As a Mashhadi, I know that Padideh plays offensive football (4-3-3) and their attacking players have much more freedom under Mohajeri. They would deserve to end up in the top 5. Such a shame that they lost 6 points due to mismanagement.

Btw. Saeid Jalalirad from Padideh is another promising young GK (23 years old) alongside Niazmand. He was impressive against Perspolis as well.

Esteghlal is in desperate need of a striker.

Can't you read or what?! I think I was clear about the timewasting and diving issues! If there is one person who's constantly shown his disgust about these tactics (particulalrly the constant diving and fooling of the referee), it is me!
But what does that have anything to do with parking the bus, which was the gist of my post?! My response was towards the people complaining about teams like Naft and co. coming to Azadi playing a star packed team who is leading the table and then using the "parking the bus"-tactic. Yeah, parking the bus ruins a lot of the fun for the neutral viewer, but go tell that to a relegation team with 0 budget trying to survive. You think they give a damn about how much fun PP or Esteghlal fans want to have during a match?! Nope! They will not play a total open game and get their assess kicked by 3-4 goals just for your or my fun!

About today match I only watched SS vs Padideh from second half. SS and Padideh both were good. Barzay could have scored. He is really good and I don't know why SS coaches don't give this player more minutes. He is certainly better than Ghorbani or Ansari. Btw, I don't know why our referees make so much mistake and many times favor SS Tehran. That was not a PK and any neutral observer could see that.

I agree that Hosseyni doing better, but we have also Mazaheri who done best in the league and still dont get to play, CQ likes Beiro and we can not do anything about it.

But to be fair to Beiro, its hard to be a goalkeeper who only gets 1-2 shots on his goal every game...

My first post in football forum after over a month. Guess Crypto currency thread and its recent crazy volatility has managed to fully steer me away from football 🤦🏻*♂️[emoji1324]*♂️

Anyway back to football, to criticize teams for playing awfully defensive football is quite hypocritical, as I am sure when we play Spain and Portugal, non of us would much mind an all defense style of football (hope you folks won’t expect an all out attack football against these guys) my theory is if a team can employ the defensive tactic, and execute it flawlessly, thus getting their desired result, then so be it! After all what matter the most and only is the score line and the final result. So if a team can resort to that style and constantly gain the results they need, then props to them, dameshoon garm. The clearest example of this is our own beloved TM. This defensive tactic being smoothly played and carried out has turned us to one of the best football teams, and the best team in Asia!

Esteghlal has turned into a totally different team ever since Schaefer’s installment. They play of a totally different and superior caliber compared to his predecessor Mansourian. In today’s match against Padide, that penalty call was absolutely a wrong call, having said that, the penalty should have been retaken for the blatantly obvious reason that we all know.

I doubt any other city draws in as many Perspolisi/Esteghlali fans to their home matches. Well maybe Shiraz being on par with them, or even top them off in that regard. Shame on Mashhad sports authorities for not letting at least these beautiful and exciting matches to be played in their newly built stadium. Gedabaazi at its max!

On a side note, I am so disappointed with Taremi and his repeated unsportsmanlike behavior and disloyalty. Hope not to ever see him back at Persepolis. Though wish him all the best and success, and hope to see him play in Europe imminently!

although I have seen him play well he is not as good as many here say. The match where he broke the clean sheet record he had some ridiculous exits that somehow didnt result in goals.

Here's another one.

I haven't seen him play except for these short highlight reels, but honestly from the highlights alone he seems pretty good but I'm not too impressed.

But I guess there's something special about him considering how much praise he gets, and it would be unfair to judge him without watching him acually play.
