he may be professional behaving or whatever..? but yaroo hamishe ye kam onogh bood and seems as he probably still is..?? based on his slow coaching progress so far...?? simply not charismatic enough to relate to higher profile players and coaching a a more respectable footballing side than a U17 Team of a C grade European club....... & that to as only an Assistant...!! lol

and some of you guys are wanting him to coach TM as a possible CQ replacement..!!!!
Due to all respect BacheLot jan, but HSV is not a C grade club. Indeed it is one of the most popular clubs in Germany.
And all big coaches started from the bottom with the U-Teams (youth teams), no matter if Klopp, Tuchel, CQ, even Zidan started as coach of the U18.
There just a few examples who did not started their career on the youth-level.

It´s just Iran where great player thing that they don´t need education to become a good coach. And the result shows that they are wrong.

I don’t know if I agree to your point wholeheartedly dadash ..!
HSV sure have a proud & somewhat formidable past, but it’s been decades since they’ve been relevant force in EU football & Probably their greatest recent achievements has been barely avoiding relegation for the longest period in BL..!?
They were probably nothing more than a B grade EU club in their best years anyways & with those golden years well behind them now, I doubt if they can be considered if any more than a high C, low B grade EU football club..!?
Also I can think of a few European coaches who didn’t spend much if any time coaching freaking Teenagers before landing a far more respectable coaching gigs ..! Off the top of my head I can think of kelinsman & I don’t know who else ? But I’m certain there probably are many others ..!? Too Busy and lazy for me to research it.

All I am suggesting here is that for all the years and the many professional coaching classes that he is taken so far in his career his current job level & title seems quite underwhelming..! & that not having a purticulatly charismatic & likable character & personality may well have something to do with that ..!?

You know a lot of people have coaching licenses at the level of Hashemian and they are assistant coaches in lower tier leagues. You are missing the point. License does not automatically make you a coach of an amazing team. That's not how it works.

What Hashemian has done is done it the right way and he's progressing quickly - considering the fact that (1) he's not European, (2) he was not a big, big name in Germany (he had a great career there but he wasn't an all time superstar).

BTW, Hashemian is very likeable character, just because he doesn't get on the TV and bitch and moan like Ali Karimi, doesn't mean that he isn't likeable or approachable.

Hashemian is a thinker , quite a quiet, pensive, humble character. I'm expecting big things from him in his coaching career.

Whenever I saw him analysing things I thought man we are lucky that in this generation we have a number of bright guys who will be able to contribute to iranian football when they retire. Sad to say that the current crop are only good for kicking the ball on the pitch, they are really damn stupid.

Fußballehrer is the highest license you can get as far as I know.

really. We had the likes of Daei, Kia, Hashemian and now we are dealing with iq's that are almost exclusively double digit , for certain in the likes of Sardar, Taremi, Beira, etc

You are very wrong. He has already now achieved more than Ghalenoi, Ghotbi, Derakhshan, and Daei combined, not to speak of the likes of Misaghian and Karimi. What you are saying is indicative of how easily you let yourself to be misled. Sad!

Hashemian is not included in HSV II's official site though?!

                  https://www.hsv.de/de/nachwuchs/u21/...-und-betreuer/

Is there any source for this news or did we get excited too early?

Thanks, I don't know German but with my limited google translate it appears to be saying, he's included in the coaching team. Not that he's actually the head coach? Am I wrong?

                        I agree with BacheLot.

I totally respect and admire the way he's gone ahead with getting his badges and I believe it to be the correct way but imo at the same time I do think his progression has been slow in terms of managing teams.

He seems to want to stay in the HSV family in the hopes of being promoted to the first team in the future. He should probably leave his comfort zone and take some managerial roles in the lower league or try and turn it around it for a struggling team.

he did and did pretty well actually with a 4th or 5th div team. I think being hamburg u21 coach is respectable considering he only got the license 1-2 yrs ago.

Yea, thats what I was wondering too. If he is either formally the head coach of HSV II or for real, or just a member of the coaching staff, since he is the one with the highest coaching license in HSV II.

yes and he's Iranian so it would not surprise me one bit if he was not the head coach despite having the highest license. In that case, he would have only changed age group, but with the same position that he had in the U17 team, which is not such a big deal. Let's hope he's the head coach.

Nekounam was a great captain and leader on the pitch, always vocal, great teammate, and unlike Karimi, has good people skills and a great attitude. I think all of those attributes could help him become a great coach.

Hashemian's work ethic is pretty impressive but he always seemed shy and was not a very outgoing person so I'm not sure how that would translate into coaching but he seems to be doing well in Germany so more power to him.
