Hsv made him U21 coach in order to prevent Fifa to fine them (because they degraded Walace from the first team to U21). The former or real coach just has a A License, while Hashemian is a Fußballlehrer.
I dont know if its just a formal thing.

    Btw U21 = HSV II

It seems like he is the coach for real. Steffen Weiß was just the interims coach, since Titz went to the main team.
Christian Titz is a great coach, he had a similair path, just like Hashemian from U17 to HSV II (which is the U21) and now the main team. Titz also was in Tehran to coach at KIA Academy in 2016. (Mahdavikia said that in the golbezan interview).

awesome news. Kia and Hashemian have the potential to take over TM in 10 years ( maybe less). The fact that the HSV head coach spent a while training FCKIA is in itself incredible

Wait a minute..... so he's Hamburg's U21 head coach now?!!!!

That is an incredible jump! I knew his top license would come to help him at some point! Mahdavikia should hurry up and take the same license.

I hope Hashemian can become HSV's main team head coach in a couple of years.

Then let them both work as head coaches for main bundesliga teams for a good 5, 10, 15 years and then they can become great professional coaches for TM! Until then, nothing less than CQ should be acceptable.

It's a huge shame Nekounam doesn't use his Spanish connections to attend these classes and receive top licenses in Spain. A good coach with Spanish game mentality would be very much needed in Iran!

                      They worked together at Hamburg.
My friend who played at HSV U17 under Christian Titz, had his individual training by Mahdavikia.
(It's the same U17-team Fiete Arp played.)

Nekounam also has great potential, hopefully he follows their path and Coaches lower levels of Osasuna teams

Once Kia FC s ready for TM. I want to see Vahid and Mehdi in control of our National Team.

I am really interested to see how hashemian does w this u21 team. Hamburg have always had strong academy with lots of talent. If he succeeds this early after getting license (just a couple years) thats really impressive. Guys like Mauricio Sarri ( got his license in 2007), allegri (2006), Conte (2007), all got their licences and within 10-15 years were managing top teams. Vahid actually started a couple years younger than them. He has always been a khoonsard, calm, smart individual and I really think he would make a good coach.

I really thought the same about Daei, guy graduated from Sharif, always so disciplined and hardworking. Daei's problem, or reality, was he has always been about money, which we see now especially with all this shit he does with his wife. Thats why he went straight to management in iran.

Na, it would still be too soon. They need years of experience as head coaches of European main teams first. As said, after CQ, nothing less than him should be acceptable for TM.

his coaching Title seems awful Underwhelming for a guy who has spent a decade or more in coaching classes and about same playing at top club and international levels ..!!??

not really hating on him and actually wish vahid the best in his coaching career...!

personally, could never warm up to his personality and attitude..!!
he may be professional behaving or whatever..? but yaroo hamishe ye kam onogh bood and seems as he probably still is..?? based on his slow coaching progress so far...?? simply not charismatic enough to relate to higher profile players and coaching a a more respectable footballing side than a U17 Team of a C grade European club....... & that to as only an Assistant...!! lol

and some of you guys are wanting him to coach TM as a possible CQ replacement..!!!!
