At this point he can't do anything more to be called up, it's just down to CQ's taste
I can't tell if you're being serious or not lol

That's a very valid point actually, I can tell that he doesn't always seem to follow the rule or specific tactics due to his style of play which is maybe part of the reason why CQ initially dropped him permanently, although I think he developed into a much more complete player since those days.

He likes the "free role" (which I think Branko visibly gave him), to be able to dictate by getting the ball everywhere on the pitch, not just limited to his position. I'd say that he's quite similar to Masoud except he's a bit less physical than him and takes on players by himself less as well. We could really do with a fluid playmaker like him it's a shame that he doesn't even make the squad, all of our TM players are fairly mediocre passers (except Shojaei or Ali Karimi junior on his day), should've probably moved to Europe to get more noticed. He's one of those typical wasted talents if he doesn't ever go to Europe

I would be surprised if this Naft stays in IPL another year. The looked like they were in crises! About Mosalman I think he is unlucky. In his position there are too many good players. I think Azmoun is planning to play CAM too. Why was Hossini on bench?

He can't help the team simply because he is not able to play the way CQ wants. He can't fit collective football we are playing.
This guy slows down the rythm whenever he feels bored, he is oftenly too slow with the ball which is in complete contradiction with TM gameplan.
Even with a different foreign coach he wouldn't be invited, just because this kind of play is ok for PGPL but at international level (even Asian level) you can't do this anymore.

He simply doesn't fit international standards. Of course he is talented, technical, has good vision etc ... but if you don't consider these factors of international game you are useless for your team. Additionally, Perspolis is often in difficult situation while defending because of him losing the ball and not coming back to defend, which is also something needed in TM.

going to europe would have really forced him to improve these areas of his game more. Ofc he has improved under brankos coaching, but still hasnt been required to change these other aspects of his game ( especially pace, helping the collective team). He is a very talented player, but I think the Branko and PP is his maximum.

For sure, but he belongs to the pre-Azmoun and Jahanbakhsh generation, the one which was more interested in earning easy money in PP or SS.
I agree, last year was encouraging for him but he is probably too stubborn to change on these aspects.
When he was young, I considered him as very talented. Now only talented but nothing special.

                      een for most part ..!
I remember some years back pre WC 14, we were playing some African team in a friendly @ Azadi, both mosalmon & that other mokhie goozoo..!?(Promissing CAM but a total psycho soosool, forgot his name ) both were invited & playing but they were doing their own thing on the pitch with CQ being visibly pissed, yelling @ them from the sidelines.
If I'm not mistaking, they even combined to score a goal & right afterwards CQ yanked their asses out & never invite them again to any camp or whatever TM related. ..!
                      Btw
This Super Cup is relatively new phenomenon to Iranian football ..!?
& I gather AK8 was supposedly coaching Naft & ghar o quit on them too ..!?? Oh wow ..! Whatta wanker ..!
