I think he's being sarcastic.

But I agree with the general sentiment - Iranian players aren't in popular demand by agents because we don't have things like "third party ownership", packaged sponsorship and foreign tv rights money that comes with players from many other countries. Not to mention just the fact that our players have a non-EU, non south american passport makes them less worthwhile to most decent clubs.
