so selfishly he expected JB to pass to & assist him instead !!!
For that, the only club with that kind of over the top altruistic mindset is Barca, where he'd have been assisted by another top socrer contender. Not AZ or any other club

ARJ featured in 7 players that deserve a big summer move

They have a very good relationship on field and are always celebrating together. Wout was not going to be top scorer, but he was trying as ARJ was trying.
I hope when ARJ leaves in the summer, AZ will invest in another Iranian - Delfi or Torabi would be great as Gholizadeh seems to be going to Belgium.
why dont you watch his reaction to all 3 goals again here https://twitter.com/FootballPersian/...40520045174784. Might make you rethink your reply.
The only time Weghorst engaged with ARJ post-goal was when Weghorst scored (either his 1st or 2nd goal, he went over and pointed at him). He was not only happy for himself but also believed he had a chance of catching ARJ.
In other words, happy when things were going right for him but not when they were going right for his team mate.
Nothing wrong with healthy competition... but there is with the attitude Weghorst demonstrated towards his team mate on the pitch today. Dunno why you're defending him to be honest. He only has himself to blame for not being up their. ARJ gifted him the lion's share of goals and missed chances this season.
Anyway, it's over, ARJ came out on top and hopefully he never has to play with this second rate striker anymore.

Wow. What an achievement. No one saw this coming before the season. First time an Iranian has won the golden boot (and most likely MVP) in a world top 10 league.
We're seriously gonna have to ban you from PFDC during the world cup

Honestly Alireza gave all of the worlds service to Wout Weghorst all season long. If he’s not a top scorer then it’s his own fault because Alireza had to tidy his mistakes up and carry his team on his back all season long. If Weghorst scored a few more open goals which Alireza created then Alireza would also be the assist king.Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things and no good thing ever dies.
