I agree with you. The Leicester city rumors are not s strong as the Brighton ones. We basically know that Brighton has made him an offer from the way he was speaking. Hopefully Leicester gives him an offer.

Mahrez has moved to City. Maybe this increases his chances to Leicester.

in some ways alireza was very unlucky with his performance. Being in Eridivisie, and being 24 (not like a prodigy 18 or 19 y/o), hes not going to be signed by the top teams, add in the fact that hes iranian. But, because he performed SO well in the league, AZ have no priced him too high for many teams that were logically a step up from AZ to afford him. These teams are mainly in the Bundesliga, Serie A. So the only teams left are midtable english teams who lack the quality or prestige to attract top players, but have the money to spend on a guy like ARJ.

it has already been confirmed by ARJ's camp that brighton offered for him. They also did before he went to AZ.

Brighton were interested in him even before their promotion to PL. I really hope he ends up in Leicester, but any upper-mid table team would be great.

And your point is? If JB wanted to go there he would already went... Since they were interested in him in the past! Logic tells us he will go to a team with availability of an opening. Just because a club doesn't send an offer, does not mean they are not interested/monitoring a player.

dude what are you talking about. You really have no clue sometimes. Amir Hashemi, ARJ's agent, confirmed the brighton interest literally a few days after WC. It makes a lot of sense because they had been tracking him for a long time, even during his NEC days, and have many connections to Eridivisie, having signed both Propper and Locadia from there recently. Im not saying that leiecester havent or wont offer for him. ARJ's agent also confirmed there are 4 interested teams in England. All im saying is that brighton is also a real possibility, and the offer is common knowledge.

If it's between Brighton and Leicester, pick Brighton all day long. He doesn't need the added pressure of having to replace one of the best players in the league last season and Brighton is one of the most stable, best-run clubs around with a manager who will give ARJ every chance and bit of faith as opposed to one who will probably be fired within 6 months.

Did't they finish 14th last season?

Brighton feels like a lateral move tbh, barely an upgrade.

English fans only remember the last match they saw, so to expect understanding and loyalty from their fans isn't realistic. They will complain no matter what the team. Especially if you don't have media hype and love.
