    Alireza Jahanbakhsh @ AZ Alkmaar | 2017 - 2018

Jahanbakhsh is participating with AZ in pre-season, hopefully he will stay injury free. He has shown in the 2nd half of the last season that he is much more capable to play for a better team but it is what it is. Good luck to our most professional and hard working player. He will be the key player this time.

He is for sure one of their key players. Hope he has a great season without injuries.

Alireza promo for next season. Great vid. I can see many goals this season if he stays injury free cutting in from left. ( now that stengs will play right )

i think he scored no goals at all in the prep games?
Iran deserves better, TM deserves better.

I have a feeling AZ are going to keep up the trend and bench Jahanbakhsh, soon will have benched starting 11.

Why would they bench their most valuable, influential and by far best player?

I'm hoping he doesn't get benched, but if Calvin Stengs keeps preforming and JB doesn't thing won't look good for him and he neither got an
assist or a goal in any of the preseason friendlies

Jahanbakhsh is moved to LW and Stengs to RW in the friendlies for experimenting. They will both definitely play.

AZ will not bench AliReza at all, it is their nr 1 star player!

Michel Doesburg (headscout @ AZ) is not a big fan of Iranian players though But if they now they can sell him for a lot of money (they are hoping to get 10-15 million for him).
                      So playing time it is!

Its just too bad that v/d Brom puts him on left. Without the right help from midfield, he will not be succesfull on that position at all.
Iran deserves better, TM deserves better.

AZ coach mentions how Alireza may play on the left going forward. Also, the source states that Maradona will attend the PSV vs. AZ match tomorrow:

"The Alkmaar equipe is doing some changes in the basic setup compared to last season.

For example, Stijn Wuytens plays with Ron Vlaar at the back of the game. Wing attacker Alireza Jahanbakhsh moves from the right to the left, so Calvin Stengs can start from right. "

Why would Maradona want to attend this game? What links does he to Eredivise? I feel like AJ can do better on LW because he can cut in and score (Iranian Le Cut Inside Man?) Also, PSV are a weaker team than they once were, even more so than ever after being out of EL by Osijek which finished 4th in Croatian Leauge.
