    Reza Ghoochannejhad @ SC Heerenveen | 2017 - 2018

Alleged negotiations with APOEL Nicosia didn't seem to work out, so assuming he will stay with Heerenveen another season. Let's see if he can rack up the goals even more than before.

All the best to him, lovable and humble guy, his impact in our football wasn't less than some like Azizi, Hashemian and some other important names. People sometime forget about him since Azmoun started to perform well for TM, but he has at least 2-3 good years in him.

Thank God the negotiations (if they ever took place) failed. I couldn't ever imagine the 23rd ranked national team in the world would have their 2nd best striker play in the Cypriot League....

Reza featured for Heerenveen's 0:0 friendly yesterday vs. Trabzonspor:

*Reza started the match and was subbed out on the 69th min.

            Highlights:

It appears that Reza will regain a primary role with his club for the upcoming season:

"Henk Veerman has been scratching his scars for scarcely a long time after scoring for Heerenveen after he has been told that Reza Ghoochannejhad will again be favored at a departure from Friesland. "

              What the HELL?
Which party wanted him transferred to Cyprus of all the places, him or the club?
Horrid. Especially after a rather successful season

You'd be shocked how much they pay their star players… That being said, id rather have Gucci play in the damn MLS than play in the Cypriot league.

Its truly a damn shame because in my opinion, Gucci is good enough to play in the Serie A… Im dead serious. Seria A.. Maybe bundesliga, but he could definitely pull off Ligue 1

Anyways, another year of 17+ goals and theres no doubt in my mind a top 6 league will pick him up, most likely as a squad rotation player if that team is a good one

"Reza Ghoochannejhad would be a superb signing for West Brom

The Heerenveen man would be an excellent addition to the West Bromwich Albion squad.

Baggies boss Tony Pulis has a lot of work to do this summer, if he is to guide his side to a successful campaign, and it will be of paramount importance for him to supplement the signing of Jay Rodriguez by bringing another top class striker to the Hawthorns.

With this in mind, West Brom should consider a move for Heerenveen hitman Reza Ghoochannejhad, who enjoyed a wonderfully successful campaign in the Eredivisise last season.

The 29-year-old striker banged in 22 goals in 37 outings for the Dutch side last term, showcasing his clinical nature on a consistent basis.

Standing at 5ft 10in, and quick along the ground, the Iranian would be ideal for the Baggies. He possesses all of the attributes which would make him the ideal strike partner for Rodriguez, and his presence at the Hawthorns would provide Pulis with the opportunity to play with two up front, which would in turn make them less predictable to play against.

Ghoochannejhad already has experience of playing in England too, after spending a two year spell with Charlton earlier on in his career, so he will be well used to the robust nature of the game.

After his Baggies side scored just 43 goals in the league last season, Pulis needs to find a way of injecting more potency into their attacking play, and by playing two strikers through the middle, he might be able to do just that.

And the 37-capped Iran international forward could be the perfect man for the job."

At Charlton the whole team was shit! He will fit West Brom as a rotation player, I'd say he no worse than Hal Robson-Kanu maybe even better.

He should not risk. Moving a year before WC. Heerenveen has proven to be the right team for him.

Ghoochannejhad in the Premier League would be the fantastic surprise of this transfer window. But I don't think that he is good enough to play in that league when he didn't produce in the Championship. He's not the type of player who fits relegation football.

well to be fair west brom are never around relegation. But I feel their style is just too physical. Gucci does best in technical set ups. I could see him succeeding in spain or france. Also west brom have Rondon, Jay Rodriguez, and Hal robson Kanu already.
