"Ghoochannejhad has to postpone special party: 'Agreements made about cheering'
Reza Ghoochannejhad hovered on a pink cloud through the Abe Lensta Stadium. The striker of SC Heerenveen became father of son Doran last week.
"We had already made agreements about the way of cheering. It should be in the next game ", said the Iranian international after the 1-0 victory over FC Twente.
The striker has regained his starting place on Henk Veerman since last week. "If you play against such a five-man defense, it is very busy, but I was pretty firm," says Ghoochannejhad, who is bursting with self-confidence in the competition with Veerman.
"In the second half of the season I started with a different mindset. I have not reached the level I can get in the winter break in many races. I have enough confidence in myself to know that things are going well. It is my job to score, but also to make the team play better. By being good in the combination, being firm and letting the team join you can contribute to the team achieving a high level. That worked out well this time. ""

To Alipour's credit, he has been very consistent for a while now - but some of his decision making on the pitch is worse than Taremi's. Too risky for the WC IMO, unless he comes to a TM camp and just lights it up.
Alipour seems more like an AC 2019 player to me, if he can keep up the form.

Ever since he scored in that derby match, he should have deserved a call up (especially when shittier strikers are being called up). If you had followed prior to 2018 you’d notice his capabilities, only thing that may slightly had halted his potential was him having a child, but still had the quality at that time for call-up.
