Positively surprised that Gucci is going to sign with another Eredivisie team. Shows that he is motivated to make the 2019 Asian Cup.

I think that honestly every Eredivisie team would be happy to have him. He is a good poacher, knows Dutch, has the needed experience and always works hard. Wouldn’t be that much far fetched if AZ picks him up as a back-up striker.

Anybody heard of this player..? I think he's an Iranian.
PayamNL I don't know if you're still around but maybe you know something about him, (or can find out something about him)
I made a thread back in 2006 about Gucci and nobody even cared to respond :P.
Gucci should thank me for getting him under the radar haha.

Funny thing is I don't even remember making this thread, or not knowing for sure that he's Iranian (how could I not know with such a name)

I also first mentioned Daniel Arzani’s name here in 2014 when he was playing U-15 football for an academy. Now he is going to the World Cup as the youngest player in the tournament.

I’m really impressed by myself that I could pick out a talent from such a young age [emoji4]

Ya hes prob there for his wife. Gucci would tear the mls apart, but I think he should stay in Holland as he can play one or two more good seasons there, maybe recommend some young Iranian to replace him once he leaves

LOL let Zlatan tear the MLS apart first, then Gucci

Gucci would be so valuable to an MLS team. You know how many Iranians would be become MLS fans overnight? A DC United pairing with Rooney would be awesome. LA and Toronto would also be good.

Selfishly speaking, I would love to see Gucci on the Galaxy or LAFC

San Jose Earthquakes could use another striker. Wondolowski is getting old and there is a really large Iranian population in the Bay Area too. I would say the LA teams but both of them have many other big names at striker already.. Other than that I can only think of a couple other teams in the MLS that could be a good fit for him

He is meeting with fans tomorrow in some cafe. You can go and convince him to sign with your beloved FC Dallas.

guys I just want to remind you Iranian have somewhat of a bad history when signing in the MLS from abroad. Azizi was horrible for the Clash, and Khakpour wasn't great for Red Bulls either
