Best Gol Bezan interview yet... Tafazolli and Ghoddos both have Persian pride in their veins!

I would love to see them both in Team Melli... With Ghoddos coming in first.

The big question is, where do we rank EFL League 1? I personally think its an underrated league, but is it Team Melli caliber? IMO, its not.

Pros of Tafazolli:
-improved every year
-won best player on his team
-defensive team of the year?
-Tall, strong, sturdy CB that we havent really had

Cons of Tafazolli
-not exactly a young prospect (almost 26 years old)
-needs to take the next step to the EFL Championship
-Slow, lower football IQ than some IPL CBs

Personally, I'd like to see him get a call up. Doesn't hurt to try him out and see what happens.

Wow, he seems very enthusiastic to play for us. I definitely hope him and Ghoddos get the call up. Some say he's not better than our current CBs. I can't judge cause I haven't seen him play other than in highlights. But regardless, I don't see why he can't be a back up for Hosseini or Montazeri in case they get injured or something. Him and Pouraliganji along with Azmoun will make corners scary af for any team

Really want him in the team, think he will be very effective for us in future asian cups. League 1 is a tricky league , one of their players scored in the asian cup final. Also center backs age well we should be able to get 6-8 years out of him

Getting called up for Team Melli would be a huge achievement and career boost for him as he was playing in the Conference National only a few years ago
