People who attack Ali Karim are not man enough to admit how this man brought joy to our football, he is an honest man but the way he explain things are with anger. If you don't remember 2006 and when we had our best players and how Sepahi dudes crossed the name of best players we had back then to include a supbar player like Rasoul Khatibi and a lazy and proud 37 year old Ali Daei in national team and 1001 bs that they brought upon Ali Karimi then and afterward.

Do you remember the stupid suspensions for him done by Sardar Ajorlo and IRGC because they saw he was drinking during training at Steel Azin in Ramadan and other bs they caused when he was in PP. And they lied several times by changing their words again and again.

Or the time he bravely sided with Green movement and had the green arm band during Iran vs S. Korea match, knowing he might lose his position with national team. People like Bagheri and Mahdavikia who are among most respected players in PP and NT and many other Iranian footballers back up Karimi. Even Hejazi always loved Karimi.

You guys are either blind or seriously have so much love for CQ that you can not see anyone criticize him. Karimi and Hejazi are honor of Iranian football period. Karimi shenasnameye football Irane age fekr mikonid pashimon nemishid azin harfaton in khato in nesho.

Karimi single handedly caused Iran to win two most enjoyable matches I saw back in 2000s vs Slovakia 3-2 (scored 3 goals) and vs S.Korea in 2004 (scored 3 goals). Ghadr Karimi ro shoma ha nemidonid. Chiro who managed the Croatian team which became 3rd in WC 98, truly said Karimi could play in Barca and Real if he was not born in Iran. He had offers from Atletico Madrid when he was only 20 year old. Who can you compare with him in talent in football in past 30 years in Iran? Even Sardar Azmoun, Farhad Majidi, Ali Daei or Mahdavikia didn't have his talent and skills.

Even Emirati and many Arab football fans love Karimi. Ahmad Khalil and Omar Abdurahman both were Karimi's fan. He was so good our traditional enemies love him so much. And now some of our fans talk shit about this man. Just shame on you.

That is shady as hell from CQ. Is that also supposed to be his godson?

Everyone should read this before the reflex (which some users have) of defending CQ kicks in

Stirring things up like this, going on TVs and press conferences, talking trash about TM's coach, while he has tons to talk about his own team is absolutely bizarre and as I mentioned above, typical Karimi behavior!

Who is old enough to remember his freaking fiasco during WC 2006? Do you guys remember how he kicked TM first-aid kit to the air right before TM bench and the eyes of Branko and the entire coaching staff and more importantly the entire world on a worldwide live broadcast?

Advocating him on this matter and at this crucial moment, is just as rebellious and unethical as Karimi's behavior!

As talented as he was during his prime, his horrendous attitude makes him one of the least favorables on my personal list (Ethically). He has always been like this. I remember at the age of 18 he slapped the FIFA referee with national team!
Or how right after the Iran - Costa Rica friendly in March he crapped all over the coaching staff. 3 months before playing.

I loved Karimi as a player but he's not a effective speaker nor a very smart man when it comes to this stuff. Even when he brings up true points he just makes the other side look better because of his nerves.

Really? Are you gonna go that route with me and the likes of me who think likewise? Personal attacks and labeling? Is this demeanor allowed here on PFDC? If the answer is confirmed by an admin, then this will be my very last post on this board for good, as aslan hoseleye in bache baziha and bearing with remarks ro nadaaram.

I am not here to be judged and called “not man enough” by trolls who constantly attack other members for their clash of thoughts and takes.

Behaviors like this has made me much less active on this board in the past year!

i think you need to chill dude.

i dont see how he/she has attacked you personally.

everyone is just voicing (typing) their own opinion on the matter.

I think you took it to the heart. Please read this yourself. Karimi is a role model for AFC player of the year 2015, the Emirati striker Ahmed Khalil and now we have people who curse this legend of ours. How will you feel when you know our traditional rival fans and players love our legend even more than some of ours?

“Ali Karimi was my role model and I always had a dream to play alongside him but unfortunately because of our age difference this has never happened,” he added.

The issue at hand is that if he brought up these points after the WC people would say that its right before the Asian Cup, after the Asian Cup they would say we are in the middle of WCQ.. so there really is never an ideal time to bring up these points.

He is helping our football by being man enough to come and speak up against all the corruption going on in our football, if we had more people like him we would start seeing many positive changes in our football. IFF officials will think twice about conducting this kind of business because of the fear of getting exposed.

The only problem with Karimi is his lack of education, his ability to debate properly and the fact that he cant properly express his concerns. All his points are valid, and should be brought up. If you look at the interview Saket keeps on ignoring the questions and brings up unrelated topics regarding the positive things CQ and Taj have done over the past few years, ignoring all the negatives, if Karimi was able to better express himself he could make Saket answer his questions.

Regarding being unethical and rebellious except for the fact that he threw the navad microphone (for which he apologized) karimi didnt do anything wrong, he didnt insult anyone, didnt make any personal attacks. He made valid points regarding the state of our Football.. CQ was unexpectedly very unethical as he attacked Karimi personally, which as a Iranian was very hurtful.. no matter what CQ has done for our football, it will never be close to the amount of joy Ali Karimi has brought to us. This is coming from someone who has always supported CQ and is a Esteghlali.

He is not an effective debater ... He kept saying "tabeeaitan" ... nervy and some of the things he would start, he couldn't end
I think bringing things up is crucial but the timing couldn't be worst ... why now?

I dont think he meant to bring it up now, he brought it up in the heat of the moment after a game his team lost.. but now that he brought it up and navad invited him he couldnt do anything but finish what he started. In the interview he did state that a lot of things will be cleared up after the WC, so he is going to wait before he says much more. I really wish he was better at debating.

Karimi was actually asking Adel for a TV debate 3 months ago, but Adel never responded until yesterday. He brought up these issues many months ago, but everyone remained silent.

I just finished watching the argument for 2 hours and 30 mins. AK is basically criticizing everything Saket did since the beginning of the WCQ back in 2015.

From Givova's terrible $72k agreement to the money that was given to IFF from the previous WC to the Adidas deal in which Saket says that we are a "5 star football federation" which is a ironic statement considering the fact we recently started to get the facilities we need.

Also, Karimi said that if we were a 5 star federation, every team in the world would be wanting to play us at the current moment. Karimi also asks him "Is it fine that we will have to pay adidas to get us the gears and not vice-versa?" And Saket says "Yes" lol.

I think AK has the right to speak out but now isn't the perfect time for it considering the camps and programs are starting during March. It would be better if we have these arguments after the world cup. Right now, CQ needs the trust and support from IFF and the fans.

We are only 4 months away and it would only be ideal if we would discuss all of this after the WC (Thats if Carlos is staying since he said he will put his family first before football).

Overall, I enjoyed this episode and I felt that Ali would have continued talking till tomorrow if it wasn't for Adel interrupting him. He ended the showing by saying that when Taj is invited to the show, he would to also like to talk to him about it on Navad lol.
