I believe Karimi wants the best for our football in general, sure, however, I was surprised how Saket could easily answer all of the individual points Karimi brought up. It could be because Karimi looked stressed and did not come out of his words most of the time, while Saket was very prepared and calm and had evidences/arguments for every issue brought up. In some instances even Adel, who usually takes every chance to crap over the federation, agreed with Saket's points.
What was hard to see is Karimi's issue with CQ, which did not come across as being sincere about the well-being of TM, but rather he looked kind of butt-hurt about something. In his interview after Sepidrood's game and in 90 he kept on bringing up CQ's staff decision making, constantly questioning Sebastian's appointment for example, to which Saket correctly kept saying that it is the head coach's right to choose his own staff and so far he has been successful, so no complaints there.
Saket basically said that the federation tries its best to comply to most of CQ's wishes in order to make TM successful in the run towards the WC and during the WC.
Karimi also made an issue about CQ's salary and the time he spends in Iran, exactly issues people like MK and likes has brought up time after time over the years. Next to that, the timing is not really helpful either, being just a few months from the start of the WC.
Karimi always says that he knows a lot of stuff and that "when the time is right" he will expose everything and everyone. He has done this a few times over the last decade, even when he still used to play football. Even Saket at one instance said "well if you have something to say or reveal you can do it now and here". Karimi also mentioned that CQ wasn't the trainer he thought he would be when he started working with him, which again was a little vague tbh.
Anyway, I think it would have been better if Karimi brought up the bigger issues and problems in our football rather than little individual matters, which could easily been argued against, like Saket did. Also, he should be more prepared and calm next time imo.
