I think players were given OK to do so by IR. It's to IR's advantage to be soft on this. will see!!
(playing in Israel is still a big No-No as they missed the first leg)

Best thing is to ignore such mindless rules and not feed them and eventually they die out.

These ideological nonsense has to stop ... When iranian players play for a team, this team becomes their employer and they are held by a "non iranian" contract. This foreign binding contract has upper hand on iranian laws when it comes to playing against whoever, israeli teams included.
This general rule has also been accepted by Khamenei himself, in his "laws for muslims living in Europe", where his own general ruling is that European law has the upper hand on any religious law (in case of any apparent contradiction) as any citizen of a country is held by a "contract".
The ban to travel to Israel is eventually another issue as it is a bit more complicated but seeing idiots in Iran making problems for iranian players playing an israeli team in greece is a nonsense, even from a religious law perspective.
Any "contract" agreed by 2 parties, "living on a territory"(in this case Greece), has the upper hand on any personal "religious law" or "home country law", in case of an apparent contradiction.
