World Cup Qualifier: South Korea - Iran; Info, Updates and Live Reports (31.08.2017)
can someone please post the goals by Qatar and China against Korea. TM is probably watching them too. you will see learly that harjo marj in front o korean goalkeeper confuses him.
in a friendly match I gave a hard time to Iraj Danaifard once. The right and let backs of Korea are not even half of what I used to be
Lol, when IRINN translated CQ's comments about his list and players like Ando, Heydari, Shojaei and Montazeri having a chance to be invited, they left out Shojaei

Its amazing to see how much Koon sooz these Koreans are; for the longest time, they held our balls in thier hands when it came to Asia Cup and WCQ but now with CQ we have them in our strangle hold! Hope they lose miserably and Uzbeks beat China so we can end their lucky 9 time run to the WC! I say lucky because if we had similar coaches to CQ in the past , Koreans nor any other rivals would NOT have enjoyed so much dominance in Asia!
I honestly predict us to still play very defensively and cause the game to grind out. Many of our top boys haven't been starting regularly for their clubs, with a few exceptions. Add to this the fact that our prep for the game has seemed a little too brief, whereas the Koreans have been micro-analyzing all of our games from several weeks in advance and have a ton of motivation to win. I predict that some of that motivation will overwhelm us a bit at first and make us panic and fall into a defensive deadlock. 0-0 or 0-1 is my prediction, unless we pull through on a counter-attack opening which is very very plausible given how much attacking force we have.

If this were 4 years ago with Mohammad Nouri playing, I might agree. This TM is a well-drilled machine under CQ. We might not dominate possession, but TM will go toe-to-toe with Korea and play well. We will have some errant passes and mistakes as we always do, but we're not going to pack the box. We are going to trade punches with Korea, and based on our talent vs. theirs, we will win. Our team is more cohesive overall, with a long-term coach. They have a new coach, and their players are lower quality at the moment, and nervous. They HAVE to win. We don't, we're already qualified. Everything is in TM's hands for a 2-0 victory.
I genuinely don't know what to do. I have never been able to be stress free during a TM WC qualification game. This is the first time ever for me. It so weird to have no stress for a TM match.
I hope we crush the Koreans. I would love nothing more than eliminating them from the WC and if we beat them in a few days their chances are dramatically slashed. I will never forget Park Ji Sung's goal against us leading to us being eliminated from qualification to the WC. Imagine if Sardar does the same to them, they will forever remember him. He has scored the last 2 winners against Korea for us, its only fitting that he puts them on the brink of elimination.
People mention Korea going to the WC is better for Asia cause they won't embarrass Asia whereas UZB going could be embarrassing. I don't agree, Korea at its current state is trash and on the world stage could very well get humiliated this time around. Besides, most zones already consider Asia as being the worst zone so it doesn't really matter what happens to Asian teams in Russia.
Lets put Korea on the verge of elimination. They deserve nothing less from Iran!
