Can we get something straight here everybody. Why does everyone think Korea has any reasonable chance of beating us? They have been playing like crap, and just got a new coach, who is not a Mourinho or anyone special. This is 2010 with the script reversed. Instead of Ghotbi trying to salvage Iran's terrible run up to that point, Korea's coach is trying to salvage for them.
Iran has yet to concede a shot on target in 8 games as far as I have seen. Do we really think this slumping Korea can beat our well-oiled machine with so many quality players without having the luckiest game ever?
Before every game, many of you become such sissies. You thought Qatar would beat us, then China is a real threat under Lippi, then Uzbeks would beat us because they needed to win.
Nobody is beating us outside of a FIFA 17 video game where they score on their only opportunity (if they even have one) and we miss every single shot we will have. This is an unlikely scenario.
I will give you all a spoiler now. We will shut Korea down, we will punish them on the counter. We will score first, and I hope to god that we do the train celebration they did to us in 2010. They are cocky, and need to finally be brought down a peg.
They always get very cocky around Asian Cup and World Cup saying Iran is only lucky, or only has a good manager while they have the more talented players. Other than Son (soon to be dethroned by Ghoddos) we are the better team in EVERY position.
Korea is in their lowest point, and their fans have talked a lot of crap about us. They have an inferiority complex which always makes them talk down to Iranians. We need to send them home for the World Cup. They will be slaughtered there too with their form.
At least we can blame Asia looking weak on debutant Uzbeks failing. If an established regional power like Korea goes and gets destroyed, that makes the continent look worse in my opinion.
The only way Korea should go is by eliminating Saudis in playoff. That is the only way I would want them to go. Based on their play, they don't deserve to go to Russia.

i suspect again that his di$pute with IFF is about not getting paid regularly or as promised in his contract..!!? in fact, im pretty sure that is the reason..!!

pretty sad and embarrassing situation for our broke-ass IFF to have to stoop so low to a guy who has served TM faithfully and valiantly for some times now..! he was class individual and probably an inspirational leader to our boys in TM, especially GKs, & will be missed..!! Highly doubt he will make another return to his post this time..?
yet, if his replacement is the same as before in the run up to China/Gutter match , the Portuguese shorty looked to be a pretty damn Solid replacement, @ least from purely football GK coaching perspective..!!
