I hope he can be a regular, he can be of great use to TM for the World Cup. He was the type of player we were missing in 2014.

He's more talented than Vahid Amiri. But I don't think he has the same drive and determination that Amiri and Torabi offer. However, he is a very good technical player.

Unfortunately even compared to someone like amiri he is a lightweight.

TM relies on players winning physical duels on the ground and in the air and unfortunately I don’t see payam as that type of player.

But I’m sure if he becomes a regular in the Turkish league he will beef up a bit and improve his intensity

He had a conflict with Queiroz in past, plus he is not CQ type of player,base on some history in the past i highly doubt he gets a call even if he perform well regularly.

I’m proud of him for going abroad for his football and it’s seemd as though he’s working hard.

I just don’t think Carlos Queiroz will think of him since whole incident with Nekounam. Payam blamed Nekounam for not being called up because he believed Nekounam didn’t like him and told Queiroz not to invite him. But that was a long time ago and he’s changed since then.

The point is, unless he scores at least 20 goals and wins the league with his team, Carlos won’t even think of him. I could be wrong though.
