You guys are amnesia. This whole idea of losing to team x to help team y has a long tradition. In fact, those of you who thought this idea was outrageous back in 2011, got bad-mouthed and insulted. Go figure!

Part of anything is to play honesty. Syria has dangerous forwards who can score goals. Iran should play its game and win it for the record.

Agrred, ... and on top of that if we are in their shoes in 4 years what would stop them from returning the favor?

We are against this behavior as Iranians and we go and do it ourselves...?
          Oh Yes!!!!!!!!
Do you realize what would happen if a good player like Azmoun gets a red card? We already lost our good Ezatollahi for the worldcup. It is actually very normal to send a reserve team in games like this and they do it very often in world cup. You don't get money or points for clean sheets. Why should we tire ourselves for Korea or UZ?
If you go to prediction forum I predicted a 5:0 victory for Iran. But I don't believe we should give a damn about UZ or South Korea at this point.
It is not stupid it is very wise!

It matters for our FIFA ranking, we're 23rd and a loss against Syria would plummet us which is bad considering our WC group isn't determined yet & how hard your group is depends on how shitty your FIFA ranking is.

Calm down. Ezatolahi won't be banned from WC just for the next match. And its called FIFA RANKINGS mate, you should google it for once. Starting to get the feeling you are Syrian...

You didn't answer my question. Azmoun is already injured and he can be more injured in a game against a team like Syria which fight with arms and legs. Another player can get a red card. Are you South Koreans?

And if we were nr1 in FIFA ranking we would have won the worldcup. Like we won Asian cup. FIFA ranking has an affect if we were
one of the 8 first teams and we can't be by winning Asian teams.

Lol, do you realize how faraway the WC is for anyone to be injured against Syria, that statement is so stupid so you are saying let's not play any of our players in their leagues/nt because they'll be injured. No I'm not South Korean, unlike a stupid person like you who wants his NT to lose and is a vatanforoush I actually want IRAN to win.

Guys don't hang me on this one. It is ironically meant. Finally I don't think we should tire ourselves for South Korea or UZ. I am sure CQ knows it
and won't start his best lineup. He uses games like this as test.
