2 - How the hell can you guys call that intentional when he has just taken a whack is disoriented and on top of that has his face covered and trying to gain his balance standing on one foot?!
I highly doubt he even knew where the Korean player had fallen relative to where he was. And if he was trying to hurt the guy intentionally, I highly doubt he would have limited it to a mild contact and would have actually stomped on his head.
I thought it was a very harsh red card and I hope he gets back to form and doesn't miss any WC matches.
      It is an intentional stamp.

      I suggest you watch this:
      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YZlhxMvH4yE

At 15 seconds, his right foot goes from being planted on the ground after the aerial challenge to being raised toward Kim Min-jae. The stamp occurs on 17 seconds. It's clearly a stamp, his raised foot moves to an unnatural position.

The proof is irrefutable. FIFA will surely see it that way and he'll get banned for a couple of games for violent conduct. Anything less and he's an extremely lucky boy.

He saw red mist in the split seconds that the SK player dragged his hand across Saeid's face and was rightly sent off for what he did. These things happen. Like David Beckham kicking Simeone for ruffling his hair in 98... nobody can condone it. He needs to be punished and learn from it. If it means him missing the WC, so be it.

I suspect he'll more than likely still be selected (as long as he is eligible for at least one group game) given that CQ has invested his faith in the player over the past 2 years but it doesn't sit right with me that he's not playing and performing weekly for a club. Also, while it's not the end of the world that he did this in a dead rubber game, it shows he's liable to do it again next summer and we certainly don't want to run that risk.

I'll respect CQ's decision on him no matter what. Let's just hope if he does take him, Ezzatolahi doesn't do anything costly at the tournament otherwise it's also on CQ's head.

With Ezzatolahi likely gone for a while, who should we invite to replace him?
Possibly the return of Kamaybina or the invite of the young Milad Sarlak?

Sarlak isn't ready for me and isn't the same type of DM as Saeid, he's borderline like a CM and isn't physical. Haven't been too impressed by him in the league

Replacements IMO should be either of Kamyabinia, Omid Ebrahimi, Noorafkan

Did someone mention Teymourian already? We should invite him back, he is a soldier on the midfield and with his World Cup experience he can help us in Russia.

Either Omid Ebrahimi or Ali karimi will partner hajsafi in the absence/bad form of saeid. Karimi should be announcing his new team after syria game , ebrahimi is returning from injury. Saeid missing one game isnt a big issue, and actually maybe a blessing in disguise

Now that I think more about it that was pretty fair from Ezatolahi, considering the Korean guy attacked his face. We were just another victim of bs Australian refereeing that are butt hurt about how we destroyed them a long time ago.

Saeid despite being a bit out of shape is still our best DM. His physical presence is huge in midfielder, let us to win lots of battles, hope the suspension is only for one game.

Again if the ban is only 1-2 games its ok but if 3-4 games ,he will for sure be done with the WC 2108
CQ or any other coach will not include a player in thier 23 man WC sqaud if he will not be avaialbe to play the first 2-3 group stage matches that are so critical.
                    No way

He's definetly more solid than any other midfielder we have!

Saeid misses easy passes and we all gets pissed but he works really hard in the background and helps out a lot our defence with 0 goals. lets face it he's been CQ nr1 DM for a reason

I'd love to see Teymourian back in the lineup but concerned he's too old. What about in the friendlies experimenting with Montazeri and Hosseini in back and moving Pouraleganji up to replace Ezatollahi?

I think ppl are overthinking this way too much. Its not really that big of a deal. Ezatolahi is great on the defensive end, the only benefit of RPL, plus bc of his own physique, but I rewatched the game and he gave the ball away in such a retarded manner almost every time. I think he could be a big player for his new team and fix his problem in possession, but until then

Hajisafi - Ali Karimi / Ebrahimi. not sure why we want ando back or moving PAG who is fantastic at CB and becoming a leader there, to cdm when we have these guys, not to mention noorafkan, cheshmi, and kamyabinia
