      he scored in the 5-0 win against SKA. They finish the first half of the season 4th place in the 16 team Russian Youth League, and have scored the 3rd most goals in the league, 42. Hopefully he breaks through for a few first team games by the end of the season.

      Goal at min 47. Also basically had an assist at minute 29. His goal was from the move he started and got in the box to finish.

          Azmoun was in his exact position for WC 2014 and Carlos didn't choose him so I doubt Shekari will play until the Asian cup.

            actually azmoun was scoring for senior team I think. Shekari still hasnt done that. But for Asian cup if he continues this, and given our lack of CAM apart from aging Ashkan and Masoud, he suddenly becomes an option

              He is in Abu Dhabi with Sardar training with Rubin Kazan’s first team.

                yeah. It looks like him and akhmetov will be real options for the first team in the second half of the season. Thats good news. Akhmetov is actually a really good young midfielder as well.

                  Do you think can we also count on Mehdi Ghaedi for CAM in the future?

                    This chap needs to learn some manners and control his temper, otherwise he will have no future.

                    He is a promising player who may also easily go down the drain. I hope he gets the right guidance unde Schaefer.

                      no ghaedis much more of a winger. Shekari is the only CAM I have seen in iran's youth groups that looks TM level. He can dictate the play, is calm on the ball, can create chances, and score. He is becoming more physical and better on defense in russia and im sure he will soon be in TM

                        Shekari is silky smooth on the ball - watching the match live here:

                          I feel bad for Shekari. He chose possibly the worst club for a young player to develop.

                              what was the alternative? easy for us to say when the only alternative might have been this team, otherwise he would be wasted in IPL. at least he has a better chance in Europe then IPL. Case and point Mehdi Ghaedi
                              IRI = FAILED

                                Reza Shekari has not played any games for Rubin Kazan and I am surprised because for all the u teams for Iran and for u 17 he played 8 games and 5 goals and for U 20 he played 13 games and 9 goals and for U 23 he has 1 game and 1 goal. So when they see him play for Iran he will probably play like Azmoun. In the future he could be on a team for a fortune, so they should probably start bringing Shekari in for a sub or play from start
