New players and their potential to break into starting roles
Ansari is definitely better on the ball than PAG, more composed and better passer. The fact that he has good technique for a defender helps him being more calm on the ball. Even against SK where they were both probably instructed to clear the balls, he played couple of good long balls to the wings. He can give nice fast passes on the ground to MFers as well
In PP he's the ball playing defender when Seyed Jalal is more of a typical no nonsense CB

i was very impressed the young debutants Ansari and Cheshmi ..!
Ansari got over his early jitters at that highly contentious match in SK and handled himself brilliantly then after for remainder of the match..!
Cheshmi also showed veteran-like Poise, tactical awareness and positioning in his short stint vs SK..!!
Love to see more from both these guys in TM and somewhat hopeful to see Noorafkan given a chance vs Syria to see how he handles himself with the big boys in an Intense and competitive international game..!! ( he was highly disappointing and underwhelming earlier at OmidWC, especially considering all the pre-tourney media hoopola about him..!)
not so sure he will perform convincingly vs Syria either if given a chance...!! and if isnt given any minutes, that should be a big teller that he is only good for IPL..!!?
