As usual ppl over reacting . We finished undefeated . There was a clear lack of motivation today. Taremi was very dangerous , on another day he would have score 3. Syria fought with their lives , credit to them. Beiranvand proved to be shaky. I think an in form haghighi should start . Rezaeian gave up the second goal tho , needlessly gave ball away, the guy still does some very retarded things. Personally I would go with ghafouri. Much more solid option, who is also not much worse than Ramon in attack.

Again sardar comes through for us . To all those who bash this kid, Gucci and Karim are not 1/5th as dangerous as this guy. Please show him some respect.

Overall shitty feeling , but teams need to learn . This was an excellent preparation game for WC

I hate to say it but today's lost is on CQ, he has to take the blame for poor choice of subs and poor choice of formation

The result didn't and doesn't matter to us guys... CQ was trying some new guys so they gain some experience gelling with the rest of the team and he achieved his goal.

Remember, our problem in the last WC was that we didn't have any depth on our bench and the whole team was dead by the 3rd game.

If we want to go to the 2nd round this time, we need depth and CQ has to have the option of resting some some key players.

Also, for those of you who came down hard on Ezi in the last game (aside from the red card), today proved that he's such a big integral part of the team... our defensive midfield was by far the weakest link today.

Judging by the body language beiranvand was the only Iranian player who wanted Syria to make it. The rest were about giving Syria a humiliating loss for what they pulled in the last game.
He betrayed his team. There is no excuse for him anymore to stay in the team.
This is the only positive thing I can take from this game. We got rid of this liability of a goalkeeper.
