And a friendly advice:
Let's remain objective when evaluating a player. Basing the entire life of a player on a single game is wrong. We should now grow. As our TM is progressing to a regular face in world cup and becomes professional; we should also grow with it and stay away from emotions and instant day by day judgements. Please rewind and read our old posts. Many of us that now speak about bringing back likes of Pouladi or etc; had claimed that this new defence is a impenetrable defence and we will win the cup like Greece.
I watched 90 last week and was laughing my head off when the analyzer was speaking of the defence line like it wasn't earthly. Watch 90 next week and you will see how our judgements are emotional and have a shelf life of a week or so hehe. Part of it is our culture and part of it is the raised expectations. It is a simple fact that when our team defends, it is a strong defensive team that is very hard to score on. When our team changes formation to a more offensive style, there seems to be a lack of communication between the midfield and frontline. That is why CQ is preferring its infamous defensive style over any other formation. He himself said he is looking for a leader on the pitch. Until then we have to rely on what we are best at: Defend and Counter.
Now my suggestion is to be balanced and humble at all times. Being objective and looking at the big picture; can place our fan base at a professional level like UK and Germany. That way the fan could be the 12th man on the pitch helping the team. Such growth cam also teach tolerance, proper proportional expectations, no conspiracy theory view and in general a fan base culture closer to the top teams in the world.
Let us not make a knight overnight so we reduce it to a mule next day. Always remind yourselves that there was less than a day time between long live & down with Mosadeq. The coaches learn from games and we shall improve every day as we are getting near the big day. Cheers
