Keep in mind how Azmoun made a similar shot from a better angle in the first half and he shut his legs, Where as beiravand..... Well I have no idea what the hell he was thinking.

I think for Qualifying any idiot could have been in net and we would have had similar results.

For Wc we need somebody to make something more then just the routine saves and we need a goalie to bail us out and keep us in the game like how Syrias keeper did.

Although I must say I would like to see how haghighi is in relation to beiranvand.

Well one is Iranian and the other is Syrian so obviously no. Beiranvand has worked really hard for TM, and had so many shutouts. He had one bad performance...

I hate Rahmati with a passion and this thread was made for Trolling purposes

But I stand by my comment which was Bieravand and Haghighi are both solid goalies, But in order to go to round of 16 or win Asian cup we need a GK to bail our ass out if we get 5 or 6 shots in a row like how Haghighi did vs Argentina.. We had a chance to tie that game or Win cuz Haghighi made big saves.. But He couldnt do it vs Bosnia or Iraq and the guy is very very poor at kicks.. Bieravand might be better at kicks and position ally but I think Haghighi and even Ahmadi/Rahmati are better shot stoppers then him(from what I have seen)

In principle I wouldn't trade any Iranian for non-Iranian. Good or bad, we should rely on ourselves.

Even though he had a bad day, he still remains our number 1 GK, but there's no harm in giving Haghighi another chance in test matches.

I just rewatched the game and saw that Azmoun could have scored a very similar goal in min 23 that the Syrians scored in 93! except that the Syrian goalie saved it between his legs and Beiranvand did not!.. I loved the game , it was TMs BEST game to date and it was a complete friendly that exposed a lot of issues, one being TM not having a leader on the field and our game plan cracking when weaker teams opened our 'clean sheet' the team was not prepared for this shock! Keep Beiranvand and lets move on!,,,
