Beiranvand to be honest is nothing special, there are too much hype around him, like lots of keepers in past, he benefited big times from TM good defensive system, and now is the same story in Persepolis. Sadly since Rahmati's prime(which was about 8-9 years a go) we suffer big time in goal keeper position. They are all more or less at the same level.
Lets be honest people fell in love with this guy because of his ability on throwing long balls rather than his goal keeping ability, positions, exits, etc
The only one which was quite decent last season was Sheikhveisi, but then he is 28 and that was a short sample!
As i said before i won't be surprised to see CQ pull another ''Rabbit Out of Hat'' kind of move like he did in 2014 with Haghighi.
The no1 position is '' up to grab'' one more time again IMO!
