He sadly didn't develop properly and that come back to the same mentality of getting satisfied easily. My expectation from him when he was 17-18 was much higher. Unfortunately we don't have many players with Pro mentality of such as JB.
People compared him to such as Nekounam and some said he will be even better and that got into his head, sure he is still 21 but i don't see this guy play in any top 4 leagues with such a mentality!!

I’m sure idealistically we would have liked him to play in Spain but breaking into a first team there would have taken much longer.
I don’t think playing in the 6th league in Europe is bad at all for a 21 year old. It’s a big task and the midfield is typically a position not given easily to young players.
He has plenty of time to move to a different league and he’s still in his early development.
I think he’s quite advanced for a 21 year old.

Yeah Serie A would be nice for him just look at the Serbian Milinkovic Savic from Lazio absolute monster and they’re both the same height with similar strengths(being able to do it all) I think if he can show himself against Spain and Portugal and transfer he could become HUUGE for us in the upcoming years I’m excited for the future I just wish all of our boys the best and injury free seasons tbh not going to judge a guy who’s been in Europe since he’s been a teen if he picks up his head he will be greater than great btw AJB is 24 now it took him a couple of years to adjust and adapt and climb up the ladder Ezatolahi could well end up doing the same as in move to a better club in the same league and eventually move to a top flight league and team like AJB like the guys going to be most likely going to NAPOLI ffs and he’ll probably start unless god forbid he has some sort of injuries or loses form. So cut this guy some slack he has well the potential to do the same us Iranians to be more of a unit rather than against one another and support each other

Do you know where Nekounam was playing at 21? Pas Tehran. Do you know how old Nekounam was when he went to Europe? 26. This kid is at least 5 years ahead of what Nekounam was at the same age. He hasn't even reached 60% of his potential yet and he's impressing in a tough league that prioritizes his skill set.

Again it is all depends what is your expectation. Sure you can be happy with his progress if you consider he is not at least playing in IPL!!!!

Im not really sure what you guys are expecting from him
He moved to amkar for playing time and nothing else.
His breakthrough season in rostov was great and he was able to play in CL and a top flight league by moving to the RPL, which is certainly better than athletico c or even b.
Sure, he could have moved to a different league but for a defensive midfielder the RPL is a good place to learn.
and he's just 21!!!! even if he stays in russia for one or two more seasons he will by all accounts STILL be considered a very young player.AKP Parti, Turkiye - Haj Bernie Sandersoglu

This is ridiculous. He has been his teams best player all season (even though he joined after 8 matches), and this proven in all statistic sites and if you watch him. He has put in quality performances against really top teams (Spartak Moscow- tie in moscow, saeid played 90), and against Zenit (tie, again he played 90, away from home) not to mention fantastic performances vs Rubin Kazan (first match) and dynamo moscow where scored, both ending in victories. How many other TM players, at the age of 21, could step into a relegation battling team, walk into the starting 11, be the best player, in a league that rarely gives chances to youngsters, playing in the spine of the team as the midfield anchor? His team wont be getting relegated, and have actually done very well against top teams ( which is irrelevant since he will leave this summer). Plus he has put in great games against the likes of Algeria very recently.
