I’m not an MLS basher and I don’t think it’s a bad place to be but for Saeid it would be a step down imo. He needs to start playing top quality opposition at this stage in his career.

MLS is only good for guys like dejagah who are nearing the end of their career. Young guys like saeid don’t belong anywhere outside of Europe

If you think the MLS is anywhere near the 6th or 7th best UEFA league then you’ve got to be on some serious crack.

I don’t like amkar, but teams like Lokomotiv, Spartak, zenit, Cska, and Krasnodar are all quality teams and play nice football.

It’s not the RPLs fault that our players, except Milad, went to teams with choppy football.

I saeds form has been good lately as well.

RPL is a tough tough league. If our players can perform their they can perform anywhere, it is a very result oriented league similar to the EPL. But you have to give the Russians credit, they have performed tremendously in club competitions the past few years. We shouldn't be complaining, if we have 4-5 players getting regular time in the RPL that is great for us.

Just because he gets to play against better opponents, it doesn't mean he is being groomed properly. At least in Iran he'd be under a better coaching(learns better habits) and gain some confidence from being in a winner team, not some basement dwelling Russian club.

Amkar Perm isn't even remotely comparable to Rubin or Rostov. Amkar hasn't finished higher than 10th in the Russian league since 2011 you smuggy Mcsmug.

Doesn't matter, Azmoun was playing relegation football with Rostov in his first season there, and he ended up scoring the vital goal which kept Rostov in the top tier
He was 20 years of age at the time. Point is that playing in the Russian league (even if it's for a team battling relegation) is still much better than playing for any club in Iran or US or UAE etc. You have no arguments, i was the first who said that many Iranians can play and compete in European leagues easily.

Also I'm not a vatanparast. I'm a performance-parast. I just don't think playing overseas automatically means better development. It depend on the situation.

They aren't though. Alipour Is on the pace to have better season than Taremi did last year. Azmoun has had 1 goal in 19 games, and Saeid is playing for a team and a coach that haven't achieved anything ever and is at the risk of dissolving. Oh wow, he was on TOTW in Russia once. Wow! such a great achievement. Untouchable, Can't believe Real Madrid hasn't signed him yet.
