But Keano...WHAT ABOUT THE KOREAN PLAYER NOT GETTING CARDED?!!111!1 /sarcasm

it's not rocket science, the stupid ref probably didn't see the Korean player's hand grabbing Ezatolahi's face, but of course his attention will be right at the collision when both players are coming down and with high certainty he will see a player taking a hostile retaliatory action. I am not justifying getting revenge, but if Ezatolahi was so upset at this, he should've waited for a few minutes, and next interaction with the same SK player, he could've shoulder checked him into oblivion.

fun game, 2 red cards for Amkar (first one was not a red card), two stupid penalties(both correct) against them that the keeper saved both. Saeeds replacement was one of the red cards

After his loan finishes, I wonder if he will stay with Rostov or go elsewhere.

Amkar beat first placed Lokomotiv 2-1. Great win.

Saeid subbed in minute 77. Assume he didn't start because of international duty.

The more I see him play the more impressed I am with him. He brings such a strong physical presence. He wins most balls and he's defensively smart. I hope he has the option to go somewhere else!

Everybody talking shit about saeid being in russia, yes we all wish he was in better team. But make no mistake, this is not a shitty level. Their team has two players in nigerias national team, one who has become a starter. The other scored their two goals vs lokomotiv today. They are currently 13th but only three points off 8th place.

"On the way to Russia #19: Saeid Ezatolahi, from Madrid to Perm

Our World Cup system is in place and as every Thursday until the opening of the competition, we propose an article that links a country qualified for the competition and the host country. Place this Thursday to Iran, which will cross the Caspian this summer to visit his neighbor Russian indirect and where behind the inexorable Sardar Azmoun, evolves a young fighter that fans of the Amkar Perm have the chance to admire each weekend: Saeid Ezatolahoi, a special story.

With already five clubs on his mark at just twenty-one, Saeid Ezatolahi seems destined for a career as a frequent flyer. For good reason, young Iranian international, the latter is far from having a career beginning common to all. Already described in 2014 as one of the best hopes in the world according to the Wonderkids website , Ezatolahi has long been considered as the future of an evolving Iranian football. In the shadow of Sardar Azmoun , the young midfielder seems determined to point the tip of his nose. Portrait.

                    EARLY YEARS
Saeid Ezatolahi was born on 1 October 1996 during a period of political uncertainty in his country, Iran, in a family of footballers; including a father and an uncle who played during the Takht Janshid Cup (the Iranian championship) in Malavan during the 1970s. Malavan; it is the club of the city of Bandar e Anzali, a port city in the north of the country bordering the Caspian Sea; this city is where Saeid spent his childhood. Good at school, the guy is also having fun on a lot ... but not necessarily the one that interests us today. Because, if his father places high hopes in him, it is first around the volleyball courts that we find the family Ezatolahi come to admire the big and gringalet Saeid. Yes, but now, football is important and the father, he prefers to feel the ball with feet rather than a few pairs of hands and wrists. So Saeid launches into football and joins the Shahrdari Bandar e Anzali, the other club in the city. Great good it does since the young man is quickly catching the eye of trainers who do not hesitate to outclass in the upper categories. It must be said that his physique is already impressive, allowing him to be ubiquitous on the field and raking already countless balloons in the middle.

Performances that do not fit the ear of a deaf person. The Malavan remembers the Ezatolahi family very well and does not hesitate for a second to sign the young player in his academy, which is considered as the best in the north of the country. Saeid is only fourteen, but already plays as an experienced player, which earned him, in 2012, a direct ticket for the first team. Already international U17 with his selection, Ezatolahi becomes even the youngest player to play in the Iranian championship. A young man in full growth, symbol of a football Iranian changing, as he explained in an interview for Sports ,"When I was younger and I started to play, the situation was not very good for young [Iranian] players. But now everything is a lot better, just see how our under-17 team beat Germany, Mexico and are among the top eight youth teams in the world. The situation has improved as a whole because more attention is given to this youth, the players have the means to grow, progress, they trust and we have so many talented young people. Before, everything was different. "

On October 26, 2012, 25 days after his sixteenth birthday, he comes into play, against Rah Ahan, to the delight of his father. Match after match, the Iranian is the boss of the Malavan midfielder and wins in playing time. This first year in the elite of Iranian football is also the one that will definitely anchor his young name in the small world of national football and, of course, the end of the season becomes a source of greed for young Saeid. Voted best young of the year, interest increases and offers rain. A great national is also interested in him, the historic club Esteghlal would see a good eye this young push in its experienced workforce, but against all expectations, the main interested refuses the offer of the club ofTehran and stay at home, in Bandar e Anzali.

The following season sees Ezatolahi definitely win his place in the club. Better still, after a good performance with his selection in the U-17 World Cup, the interest is more than national and some European stables are interested, according to the press, to him. From Lugano to Lausanne via Besiktas, the profile of the Iranian midfielder is not insensible despite his seventeen years. A youth illuminates, a future now drawn taking him abroad. All Iranian football sees in him a great future.

                    IN SPAIN AND RUSSIA
Against all odds, Ezatolahi remains in the country during the summer transfer window of 2013. Despite many clubs making his eyes soft, the future Iranian international prefers to gain experience in the Iran Premier League. Holder now indisputable within the Malavan, he hesitates however more and more to leave his native country. The first club that puts a bid on the table is not necessarily what we can expect: Atlético Paranense wants to engage it as soon as possible. Saeid cordially refuses the offer of the Brazilian club as well as one from Russia. Indeed, the Kazan Rubin is also interested in the profile of the player. If we think of the vagaries of youth, it hides above all an offer. A more beautiful offer. Bigger. More pompous. This offer comes from Madrid and Diego Simeone's Atletico who has been following him for a while, before doing so in the summer of 2014. "They followed me to the U17 World Cup and watched from many excerpts from my matches, " explains the player. "When I was transferred, I saw a lot of things related to football that are not present in my country. They start working individually with players as early as 8 or 9 years old. Many things have changed in my perception, both in tactical aspects and in my understanding of football. "

If the player does not feel better on arrival, the country, by cons, it's boiling. It must be said that few players are exported, even more those whose home club is the caliber of Atletico. But there, the competition is tough and, for the native of Bandar e Anzali, we must start at the bottom of the ladder. With the junior teams, his debut is smashing. Holder of entry in the midfield, he impresses and pushes his leaders to include him in the workforce to participate in the Youth League. His grand premiere at the top level is against Chelsea, in this competition for young people. 90 minutes of fun later, Saeid asks for more. Outclassed in team C and sometimes even with the B, he also participates in his first training with the team under the command of Diego Simeone.

"It was a challenge for me," recalls Saeid Ezatolahi . " Before that, I had never left Iran without my parents and friends. When I moved to Spain, I found myself left to myself, completely alone. I did not know Spanish, I did not know anyone there. The first three to four months were very difficult, and little by little everything gradually started to improve. High-level European football forces you to learn all kinds of things, not just football; you have to face these challenges and face them if you want to be a good football player. "

The summer of 2015 is already a turning point in the young career of the Iranian. The mercato is once again agitated and, while Atletico Madrid wants to extend his contract by adding four years, while Getafe tries to enlist him in his workforce by promising him a place in La Liga, Saeid refuses and takes the lead from Russia. Convinced by his team-mate Sardar Azmoun, he joins Rostov, who has just completed a season of anthology and has come to the brink of the title of champion . From the Youth League to the Champions League, there is only one step; a step that the Iranian crosses briskly.

"When I was at Atlético Madrid, I really wanted to play for the national team, so I had to play in a major league. With Atlético, we went down to the third level and it had become necessary for me to change clubs. Before I even went to Spain, Berdyev told me about Rubin, where he trained. But I finally chose Atlético, at that moment. After a year and a half, I joined Rostov, because I knew that the club played a role in a major championship. Many people asked me why I went there, because at that time, Rostov was playing the bottom of the table. Then I was transferred and everything improved. We played the European Cup. And for me and my progress, it was important. " Continues Saeid Ezatolahi.

The Champions League playoffs are never easy matches, against Anderlecht everyone sees the Russians sentenced. But thanks to a goal by Ezatolahi, Kurban Berdyev's club progressed in the competition and even qualified for the hens. Unfortunately for Saeid, the fairy tale does not last. The middle does not enter the plans of the Turkmen coach and plays very little, being content with pieces of matches. The first scorer in the club's history in European competition is cordially invited to find a new club in December. Six small months after his arrival.

This first dark moment marks the career of the young Iranian; despite a breeder who continues to trust him, in Russia he fishes. In early 2017, his agent announced in the press that his next club will be a team in which he will hold. Still under contract with Rostov, he is on loan to Dagestan. Direction Anzhi who then plays his survival in the championship. Evil in point, Ezatolahi grid of jokers and is even expelled in a game importantissime for the maintenance. Result of the races? He will no longer play a game of the season ...

For his last year in Rostov, he is once again on loan. This time it is the Amkar Perm who welcomes him. Also badly placed in the standings this season, the Perm club offers little time to play the Iranian star. With only ten appearances this season, it seems that the young Persian is treading water. Despite Russia's ups and downs, Ezatolahi will surely be there this summer to shine with his selection. What show his leaders that they can count on him."

The World Cup and the weeks after the tournament are very crucial for Saeid's development.

If he opts to stay at Rostov his career will definitely further stagnate and eventually decline.

WhoScored didn't record it as an assist unfortunately because of the second shot after the keeper rebounded it, but w/e; he still created the goal even if not an official assist

He is also ranked their best outfield player of the season by who scored with a really respectable rating of 7.14. This guy deserves more credit. Amkar are now 10th place, and seem very solid. He has been their best player of the season despite having joined the team a month into the matches, and being thrust straight into a bad situation where they were dead last.
