Well it all depends on what you call a "top" league.

This nearly happened to Feijenoord and FC twente I'm Netherlands and might happen to other teams in "top" leagues too. But it has a fundamentally different reason. Here is not because of backward system....

It has more to do with oil money backed clubs and clubs like ManU, Barca and Real that pay a lot of money for players raising the value of the whole transfer market (even for bad players). Now the smaller teams that want to make sure that they can keep up being close to the upper teams, or the teams that are pressurized by their fans have to take risks. Meaning buying expensive players with high wages and hope that they qualify for the champions league (and for bigger teams to go to the knock out rounds). If they don't play CL and don't get the money however, after a couple of years they come close to bankruptcy. Cause what do you think that the reaction of the fans will be when you don't reach your targets and start selling your best players. And what do you think that clubs will pay you when they know that you're selling because you need money.

You could say that it's mismanagement and you shouldn't listen to the fans but that's not realistic in this day and age (unless you want to relegate or end up like Wenger).

Good analysis for how the European leagues are being hurt by the big money injections. Whats worse is that the division 2 of many Euro leagues are even under bigger pressure. There are many Spanish, dutch, Italian second division teams that occasionally flirt with bankruptcy.

He said during his interview that he's back with Rostov. As for transfers, no real news yet!

Saeid Ezzatolahi was our best player in WC I hope he chose a good team he will soon become the player we need in TM a player in caliber like Kia, Daei, Karimi and Bagheri, I love to see him play in Italy

The guys who bashed Saeid don’t know football. The guy is the most talented home grown footballer we have had. I think he might have made a mistake going to Russia, but his talents are undeniable.
