Beiranvand or Haghighi for Number 1 in WC 2018

If we are going with Beiranvand into the World Cup, I'm afraid that we will have another group stage exit.

Basically every time he was tested at TM he got exposed badly like Guam and Syria who are not even World Cup calibre teams.

Too soon to say. We have to wait until at least February. Let's continue and follow Beiranvand's form and how Haghighi does with his club.

However, if the World Cup was next week, my vote goes to Beiranvand. But again, it's too soon to say.

The race for GK should be open, specially after the Beiranvand blunders and performance the last two, three months and the slowly comeback of haghighi. But also other goalkeepers should have the opportunity.
It is not enough to throw the ball 2, or 3 kilometers...or even to kick it to the box of the other field...Beiranvand have specials, really useful specials but his performance between the post worries me really. We have no international class goalkeeper, but if whoever will be between the post, perform like haghighi in the World Cup, specially vs. Argentina, than we will be able to compete. We need a super goalkeeper to advance.
The race is and should be open. Beiranvand have to find his form, and step two levels to be our best goalie. haghighi, also other keepers, even also this abedzadeh guy wakes hope in me on the latest performances, to have a good competition for number 1. But if Beiranvand can step two levels, and minimize his blunders and position (and with the special weapons he has!) we can drive deadly counter attacks, if we have speedy enough technical players up front. This can be a good weapon for us.

Usually goalkeepers reach their peaks between 28-32, it is actually the other way around with Iranian goalkeeper, most impress in their early career then shit the bed when they are supposed to be at their best .

Last game vs Syria for TM and now this performance vs Al Hilal. He is looking worse by the day. You can tell any confidence he had is all gone now.

It might be time for CQ to look at another option for TM's keeper position.

His form keeps declining, it feels like I am watching someone between the posts that is terrified to be there. It does not appear that he has any confidence right now, and he just panics when any shot is coming towards him. All form and concentration goes down the drain, and he has a terrible reaction to most shots on his goal now. He needs to sit out, whether it is stress, or carelessness, an injury, or whatever else, something has destroyed his form. I would prefer to not see him play for Perspolis or TM for a little while.

Beiranvand has lost his touch for a long time and does not deserve to be the 1st goalie anymore. He gets scored on very easy as he could stop two goals if he came out and cut the crosses today. He just waits for the ball to come to him. I think CQ needs to look at our league more or as Haghighi does stupid mistakes as well.

We need a keeper with confidence like Abedzadeh who could organize the defense. I am now very nervous every time he is in the goal as even though he has some good saves, he is not solid and lacks confidence and he has slow reflexes and I don't know why he does not move towards the ball and almost never cuts or interferes in the crosses.

I think Haghighi is also in the same class as him as he also does many mistakes but he did a hell of a performance in Brazil and has much better reactions but he is a bad shot stopper. So we really need to test others to find the best choice in the WC.

Regardless of whether or not you like haghighi....it really can't get much worse than beiro right now. He's in awful form. I don't think he should be our #1 by any means at this point I wouldn't even want him to be in a TM roster he needs a wake up call, the mistakes he makes are mind blowing!!! the more legit question is what's it gonna take for mazaheri to get his fair shot?

Do we even have any other decent IPL options? Haghighi seems to be on the rise again, getting some playing time in sweden but Beiro is probably one of the most toothless keepers i have seen in a long time
