Mazaheri seems like he has some potential, and down the road (too soon for now) I think Akbari will be a good keeper too. For now I would assume that it would be between Haghighi or Mazaheri.

Haghighi is much better on his exits than beiranvand.

Today beiranvand was so static and was constantly afraid to come in and control his area!

The first goal was an elementary mistake!!!

I think currently BV is the worst of our top 5 keepers. His shaky keeping with TM and Perspolis in the past month has cost us dearly. I am quite honestly disappointed in him. At such crucial stage and timing of his career when it matters, he has been on a constant decline, letting in bizarre goals. If this trend continues, then he shall get replaced by whomever we have at his peak currently!

today was one game too far. Before I said lets wait to see how he does for TM in friendlies, but this is ridicuous. Every semi decent shot on goal goes in, his confidence is shot to bits. All in the matter of 2 weeks , What the fuck . Mazaheri hasnt had a chance to show himself, hes been consistently great for zob ahan in PgPL and ACL last year, he deserves a shot. I think haghighi is probably 1 right now.

A real shame bc we all wanted to see beiranvand, who is a fantastic guy with an incredible rags to riches to story, show himself to the world with those out of this world long throws, great physique. There is still plenty of time for him to regain form before WC ... But he needs to pick it up ASAP

At least now we can be certain (I always was lol just for those people who had questions) that the last goal in the Syria game was not intentional, he just really is that bad right now.

Regarding the first goal, Berianvand is 6 foot 5" tall, not counting his reach, he had to absolutely jump and reach for the ball. At worst he could've punched it out of the box. In that situation, if the attacking player was to try to jump over him, which would've resulted in a foul. I have no idea why he just stood there and let the ball connect with the attacking player. At that range, blocking a header is very unlikely.

Who the hell is his trainer? Who is training our GKs in the PGL?

Beiranvand is pretty much in the same state of mind as GholamPour was during the '94 WCQ. He either fixes his psyche and get in top form or forget him as TM keeper. Right now, I'd take
                1. Haghighi
                2. Mazaheri
                3. Akhbari
Mazaheri should be tested seriously in a couple of friendlies. I have a good feeling about him. He is very solid for ZA.

a GK has to show a presence in the box. Beiranvand is not that type of a player. Regardless if that was offside or not, he should have punched the guy's head off just to send a message. He is more and more reminding me of Rahmati, except that while Rahmati was weak in the air, he was very effective in stopping shots.

Haghighi, for all his faults, knew when to exit the goal and when he did, he showed the opposition that he owned the penalty box.

The only problem with Haghighi is that he almost exists for everything. I guess that is better than never exiting, but exits is definitely his weakness too. However he is proving to be much better at stopping one on one shots, and shots from long range (other than when they are low.)

I say it again. Let's give Mazaheri more chance. I bet he won't let us down.

A few months back we thought we have 4 very good goalkeepers and it is a position we are comfortable in!! Now it is becoming difficult. I don't want to see Beiranvand nor Haghighi there.

I do agree. He's the most consistent out of all, has no significant weaknesses either

Since yesterday, it is clear, we have just a goalie which can throw the ball till the opponents box, and yes he also can kick it wide, but no other quality, specially no presence, and no usage of beiranvand for crosses, corners, no help...

To be honest, we have a big goalkeeper problem. we should say the true situation.

                                Beiro needs a rest.
I would put Radosevic in goal for the next games. He's much hungrier and popular among the fans.

I won't forget how the same Beiro performed vs Perspolis/Esteghlal two years ago.
