I dont think Beiranvand has commited age fraud, and the defaming of him in the public is very sad. He comes from a very poor background and upbringing, and slept homeless on the streets of tehran for months and month, alone, when he played for various youth teams. I think that the pressure of PP is getting to him. Maybe a move to tractor and outta the limelight could be good for him after all.

He definitely looks about 32. Not that 32 is old for a goalkeeper. It's probably prime age. However the way Beiranvand is playing, he seems very inexperienced in his decision making. Mazaheri, Haghighi, Makani and definitely Abedzadeh would be my favourites to start instead of him.

I think he's still our best goalkeeper, he has a small edge over Mazaheri and Lak, and is definitely much better than Haghighi. It's ridicolous that some here still bring him up when it's clear he's simply not good enough to be a goalie for TM, he has too many fundamental weaknesses. I have never seen Amir Abedzadeh play (and i'm sure neither has the majority here) so i can't comment on him. What i do know is that he is a second goalkeeper in a 2nd division Portuguesse league, at any rate he should be given a chance.

A Goalkeeper Needs to have an Aura of a Champion, a presence that makes all the opposite attackers feels scared and give his own men a Feeling of security. i dont see any of this attributes in Beiranvand. Haghighi or also Akhbari might not be top Talents but they have charisma and mark presence on the pitch.

Haghighis flaws outweighs his few good attributes. His flaws didnt show so much in WC but was exposed at AFC.

Sosha Makani should take his place havent seen any goalkeeper save so many 1on1's as him. Beira/Sosha/ ?
