    First come - First served - Ticket start 16. November (Phase 1 - 14.Sep. - 12.Oct.)

Guys, some of you probably know it, the media announced that the first World Cup Ticket Sale started from yesterday and finishes at 12 October.
it makes no difference, if you order today, or on 10,11,12 october. because this first sale phase is lottery.
But you can buy Team Series Ticket (for Iran matches) from 1 to 7 matches. TST-3 to TST-
I really want to know, who is ready to buy the tickets, now, before group stage draw. Because the team series you can only buy before the group stage draw. in phase 1, which is splitted into 1) lotter phase 2)first come first served phase.
If fans from netherlands, germany (aachen-cologne area) are really ready to go for the world cup, so we should meet in these phase and order together. I am really interested for pfdc members to go to the world cup, and we must be coordinated, not the same as IFF....
    So who is in?
Discuss now, i will order latest aroung 10 October and see which pfdc fans are ready to make that great adventure.

    News:

In addition to host country Russia; Brazil, Iran, Japan, Mexico, Belgium, Korea Republic and Saudi Arabia have so far secured their spots at the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™. As of 14 September 2017 at 12:00 (Moscow time), fans all over the world will also be able to book their place as ticket sales for the tournament start exclusively on FIFA.com/tickets.
“We have put in place a ticketing system that will enable all fans a fair chance to secure tickets. Throughout history, fans have made a key contribution to the fascination of the FIFA World Cup. Russia promises to be a unique continuation of this history, with outstanding organisation and a great atmosphere in the stadiums,” said FIFA Secretary General Fatma Samoura.
Tickets will be available during the following sales phases:
Sales phase 1 (divided into two stages)
During the first period of sales phase 1, which starts on 14 September and finishes on 12 October 2017, fans will be able to submit their ticket applications. During this sales period, it will make no difference whether they submit their applications on day 1, the last day or any time in between, as all applications will have the same chance of being successful. In cases where the number of tickets applied for exceeds the available inventory, tickets will be allocated by a random selection draw process. All successful, partially successful and unsuccessful applicants will be duly notified of the outcome of their applications by 16 November 2017.
Sales phase 1 concludes with the period from 16 November to 28 November, during which tickets will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Sales phase 2 (divided into two stages)
Following the Final Draw of the 2018 FIFA World Cup™ on 1 December 2017, sales phase 2 will comprise a random selection draw period from 5 December 2017 to 31 January 2018 and a further first-come, first-served period from 13 March to 3 April 2018.
Tickets purchased during sales phases 1 and 2 will be delivered free of charge to fans in the weeks leading up to the tournament, with deliveries planned to start in April/May 2018 (subject to change).
    Last-minute sales
Fans will also have a final chance to secure tickets during the last-minute sales phase, which will be implemented on a first-come, first-served basis from 18 April to 15 July 2018, the day of the 2018 FIFA World Cup™ final.
What types of ticket will be available in sales phase 1?
Individual match tickets: tickets for a specific match, which are available for all matches from the opening game through to the final.
Venue-specific ticket series: ticket strips for a specific stadium. These strips include the group matches (except the opening match), the round-of-16 match and the play-off for third place played at the specific venue of choice. (Example: the venue-specific ticket series for Luzhniki Stadium includes three group matches and one round-of-16 match. It does not include the opening match, semi-final or final.)
Team-specific ticket series: ticket strips for fans to follow the national team of their choice. Team-specific ticket series are available as packages that include three to seven matches and can only be requested during sales phase 1.

Special-access tickets: FIFA will also ensure a dedicated allocation of tickets for disabled people, people with limited mobility and fans classified as obese.
What will be the accepted payment methods?
In sales phases 1 and 2, it will be possible to pay for tickets by means of the following payment methods:
Visa, Official Payment Services Partner of FIFA, payment cards.
    Other payment methods
    FAN ID
At the request of the Russian authorities, all fans attending matches at the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™ need to apply for a FAN ID – the official identity document issued to fans. Fans are encouraged to apply for this free document as soon as possible after they received their ticket confirmation email following the conclusion of the random selection draw period.
The FAN ID and a valid ticket are required for fans to be able to enter the 2018 FIFA World Cup™ stadiums. Having a FAN ID gives fans additional benefits and services provided by the host country, such as visa-free entry to the Russian Federation, certain free inter-host city travel and free use of public transport on matchdays. For further details, please visit www.fan-id.ru.
FIFA does not assume any liability or responsibility concerning the application, issue and/or use of the FAN ID.

It does not. It goes based off the "demand". As in, if there is high demand for the Iran games, they will doe a lottery to see who gets the ticket. If the demand is low, all the people who requested the Iran games get the ticket. Or at least that's what I understood while reading the page quickly.

what is the difference in categories? I saw that the third category costs 105 DOLLAR per game. Is that a bad seat?
Iran deserves better, TM deserves better.

Sounds expensive. Add up all the additional costs for a trip to Russia and it will be easily above +1000 euro's. As much as I love TM, it's not worth the money.

I hope they will have a training camp and few friendlies somewhere near The Netherlands, so that we still can see our boys in action.

Thanks for this thread. I had totally forgotten about it. I just applied for 3 games of Iran. Last time I was able to get it in the first random draw so hopefully this time should work well as well

I am considering going to Russia for the world cup but I have looked at all the ticket related pages on Fifa's website and I am confused. I wonder if anyone here can help.

Lets say i get the TST3 for Iran. I understand that means that I will have 3 tickets for Iran's group matches. Is there an option to purchase tickets for just one of Iran's group matches? Ideally I would love to see all 3 of Iran's group matches but committing to all 3 matches is a big commitment both time wise and financially. It would particularly suck if the 3 venues Iran plays at are in Russia's shittier cities.

You have to obviously wait for the draw my friend. For the moment only team tickets can be purchased.

I just want to add a comment for people who are like "I wish I could go, but I can't." I know the ticket process for the World Cup is intimidating. I went to the 2014 World Cup. The morning of the Nigeria game in the streets of Curitiba, Brazil with my face painted, I couldn't believe I was going to the game that afternoon, and I was so happy that I decided to go. Honestly, it just requires some planning. You need to sit down and figure it out. Sure the tickets are expensive but they are not that expensive compared to the average sporting event. The lottery system is confusing but people here will help. The flights to Russia might be expensive but see if you can use miles or take connecting flights that minimize cost. My point is, if you genuinely can't afford it, then that's understandable. But if you can afford it, don't just write it off. I think if you go, you will have the same experience I did, which is that it wasn't as complicated as you thought, and you're at the fucking World Cup cheering on your favorite team.
