I finally got my unsuccessful email. THink i will apply for a higher category and for fewer people (i applied for 4 people per match).

Surprised that i got tickets (TST7 x 3) all the way to final for brazil and semi final (TST6 * 2) for germany but nothing for russia.... hmm...

This whole system seems so confusing. I am holding off until the December draw before trying to get tickets. I have a feeling I won't be successful but I did not want to commit without knowing teams/cities. I do not want to Russia if none of TM's 3 group matches are either in Moscow or St. Petersburgh. I really don't want to see anything else in Russia other than one or both of those cities.

It looks like a lot of you who applied weeks/months ago got unsuccessful tickets. This makes me think I have no shot waiting to try and get tickets in early December. Can anyone tell me any kind of educated guess or analysis what are the odds of getting two or three tickets for TM's three group stage matches if I apply in early December?

yea cool, that sounds like a good purchase... but how do they know how much to charge you, not knowing if your team even makes it outa of the groups..??
im probably just gonna wait n chance it till groups and & venues are announced, then go to 1 or 2 of the iran games in the nicer venues/cities..!!? Can I just buy individual group game Tickets ?? or likely be sold out by then through FIFA..?

i don't know exactly. we must google on Fifa site supporter tickets. what that exactly is, and what the prices are, or how it works.

Supporter Tickets (ST) and Conditional Supporter Tickets (CST): National team supporters can apply for Supporter Tickets for the Group Stage Matches played by the national team between Match 1 and Match 48; national team supporters can also apply for the Conditional Supporter Tickets which are the Tickets available for the four Second Round matches that could potentially be played by the national team in the Round of 16, the Quarter-Finals, the Semi-Finals, the 3rd Place Match and the Final.
All Conditional Supporter Tickets are conditional upon the national team qualifying for the respective match. If your team is eliminated, your right to be provided with, and use, the ordered Conditional Supporter Ticket(s) for such Second Round Match(es) will automatically cease to exist. In such cases you will be refunded for any Second Round Match Ticket(s) purchased by you and not played by your team due to elimination, minus a handling charge deducted by FIFA equivalent to 10.00 US Dollars per customer/guest (up to a maximum of US Dollars 40.00 per order) or the equivalent in Russian Roubles, regardless of the number of Second Round Matches you may have covered through your request.

Yea man, im pretty much in the same boat as you on this ticket front..!!
woulda been more committed had i been traveling there alone for TM only, but as of now, it gonna be me & a brother of mine along with his son, neither of whom are a big fans ...! they are thinking of going to Iran and then travel to Russia from there ...! it'll the first visit for his 20year old son, and if i go along with them through Iran rout, then that'll be my first and only visit since i left the country some 30years ago...!
for now im hesitant to go back to iran, fearing they could hassle me upon entry or exit outa iran to russia and totally fk up my WC scheduling plans ....!??

on the ticket front, i have this nasty habit of not buying any even ticket early and just wing it at the gate on the event date, be it concert, sporting event whatever..!! tbh, ive had over 80% success rate so far too doing that and more often than not buying great seats off of folks desperate to get rid of them at fraction of face value...!
