you guys are reading too much from this interview.
what should he have said or done? cry and ask for forgiveness? say things like "I am sorry that we are fucked"?
I personally saw a guy that is kinda in shock a bit in denial and is trying hard to sound like his ban doesn't mean that persepolis is out of anything.
first words out of his mouth were "na baba khabari nist mirim al helal o mizaneem". he is trying to stay positive and that's what one would expect from a player in such situation (meaning on the eve of a very important game).
he needs to move on from this (hopefully having learned valuable lessons) and listen to Branko and use this 4 months ban to work on his finishing and come back in January. remember what the interviewer said at the end. Mehdi taremi "Roosh kam nemisheh"! I have no problem with that.

he is saying that he only defended Taremi and Perspolis defended itself and he had nothing to do with any part of this ruling that involves perspolis. and he is right. those two punishments were as the result of two different acts, one by Taremi (walking out while under contract) and one by Persepolis (persuading a player to sign with them, while he was under contract with some other club). and all he is saying that he was only involved in defending Taremi. that's it.

He needs to learn the concepts of professional football. In Iran today people think that anything goes. People like Ex Persep management that sign a coach breach his contract and expect nothing to happen. This is pure unprofessional To the Nth degree! Taremi is the same fool. Problem is no one learn from the other people’s stupid mistake ! It happens over and over and FIFA has a field day with us!! Real winner : AlHilal !!! Freakin stupid Taremi!!

He should be ashamed of himself for being so defiant and such imbecile "Naaaaa baba hich khabari nist..." I lost all respect for this guy. Such illiterate and insensible personality from a "star" player.
First his unreasonable and irresponsible backing out of his contract, resulting in such big damage to our club and football, and now sprinkling salt on the wound and exacerbating us by his ignorance.

The truth is 1. He didn't go to Turkey to sign a deal but to accompany his friend 2. He was persuaded in last moment to sign a contract with a low level Turkish team. 3. He ended things very unprofessionally. It is all on him. When you sign a contract you are supposed to honer that or finish things clean.

Taremi rushed his exit back to Iran while Ramin stayed for another two weeks and finished with Rizespor clean. Mehdi Taremi was just not a thoughtful person and his agent was also unprofessional.

There's no way he just decided to sign a contract like that making a move to Turkey out of no where. Taremi purposely didn't sign a contract extension with Persepolis and was hoping to make a move to a European side after that season. Rizespors main target was Taremi in the first place. These things take a lot more time than just signing up out of nowhere like that. I'm sure they spent time negotiating wages, contract lengths, and any other variables. Taremi even started training immediately after signing and started his transition moving out there as if everything was already established.
He had the offer in his pocket for a long time, Rizespor and a Spanish team even sent their scouts to Tehran, but he didn't consider the Rizespor offer for a long time.Last edited by 04041374; 09-25-2017, 07:00 AM.
