should have started the game with 2 DM against this very good Al Hilal team.
    Spot on.
The laziness and "shol" play in the midfield has been shit.

Mensa doesn't hustle either. Taremi was good for that.

if they can reorganize and keep things much, much tighter and organized in the Back and hopefully get one goal back on a swift counter or a possible set piece, then there is still hope..!!
but it all seems awful unlikely.... there is a very evident quality difference between the two sides....!

oh, the first goal looked offside too.

4-0 Game will end...Taremi will laugh again and Branko will leave after this season since he didn't sign a new agreement...

It is clear that Persepolis is not in the game mentally. They are feeling the pressure.

Also the midfield is not fluid nor connecting well with Alipour and Mensha.

We have 45 more minutes to make tactical changes and get our head fully in the game.

Midfield is totally non-existant!! Al Hilal can easily do whatever the hell they like in midfield!

Beyranvand...what can I say?! I guess nothing new as of late. The clean sheets he got in TM was mainly because we got like 4 shots on target in 12 games, and 2 of ended up in his goal.

Anyway, this is an away game on paper, so scoring 1 goal will give PP a major boost in the next match (of course they shouldn't be allowing any more goals from now on).

But Al Hilal is much better team than Al Ahli

However I am still hopefull that in the second half we can at least tie the game but its gona be very hard

I also see that if it wasn't fir TM's defence , Beiranvand would have recived many many more goals in our WCQ campaign

He is not what we though he would be vs. good offensive teams

Also our midfield is weak as hell

We're losing the combat on the midfield, our midfielders fail keeping possession, their passes often get intercepted and controlled by Al Hilal midfielders. We fail both defensively and offensively in the midfield which means we're a crippled team, unable to feed the strikers and miserable in our defensive duties and helping our defense.

Mosalman has been the biggest flop as of late. Not too crazy about Shoja either TBH.

Exactly. And it doesn't necessarily mean that we will do the same and bounce back against Al Hilal. But we shouldn't write off the team just yet. We played badly in the first half and there's still 45 more minutes to go.

                    Let's keep it together!

Perspolis has rushed their possession everytime they had the ball. We have been completely shutdown on our counter attacks, our midfield continues to give up the ball, and we are missing Ansari and Hosseini big time in defence. Also doesn't help that Beiranvand continues to look very shaky. Everything is going wrong on our part.

This al Hilal is not alahly or felan felan....

AL Hilal plays organized, the are more athletic and faster than Iranian players, also this is their key why they qualified and improved their football a lot...they are more hungry, more aggresive, Iranian players are tired, mensha I saw going to defense, while 3,4 other players did not run back...beiranvand is no keeper which comes out to clear the ball. he could come out of the goal, better position 1-2meter more front, and than to the front and side, and no danger, no header...second goal also same story, like a giraffe...until he goes down, the ball is in the net.....

first goal three mistakes: first, defender too much away, did not hurry to block the cross, beiranvand too much inside the goal, defender unorganized to clear before...
second goal also so much mistakes....chi begim akhe khodaaaaaaaa....key ina mikhan adam beshan....

And on the 8.Day God created Ali Karimi, and he saw he was good!
If Defenders were allowed to use their hands to stop Karimi

fully agree on the need for 2 DM in this game, but the D line is way under-strengthed an unorganized as well..!!

the whole team was playing waaaay too open of a match against a side that is obviously of higher quality side, that dumb shittt game approach and only using one DM is certainly on Bragoh....!! same ol brangoh

Not making excuses because Al Hilal were clearly the better team in the first half. After watching the first goal again it did look offsides to me too.
