I genuinely hope we field are best and most likely WC squad and takes this game seriously despite it being a friendly. Our group will likely have a very strong team (such as a previous WC champion) and 2 other strong teams. Whether we makes the round of 16 will depend entirely on what results we get vs the 2 strong teams in our group.

The strength of these 2 teams will likely be similar to that of Russia's (although I think Russia is slightly weaker that most of these teams). So this game is a good barometer on where we stand vis-a-vis the world.
