If you want to plan your friendlies up to a major tournament perfectly then you always start playing against weaker sides in the first friendlies and then go on to play stronger opponents as you get closer to the tournament and finally the last friendly is usually also always aganist an easy opponent where you just want to go through your strategies and at the same time want to prevent a big loss or injuries.
So far, our friendlies are ok, including the ones in november against Panama and Venezuela. But as we go ahead in our preparation and get closer to the WC, we better play against stronger teams as well to be prepared perfectly. And then there is also the issue of playing against different countries with different style of play depending on their geography and continents. I guess CQ knows this way better than any of us.
