A friendly with Serbia would actually makes sense. I have a few Serbian friends who say how much Serbia love our country and our government (yikes!). But if it helps us play against their talented team then why not.Comment

Venezuela friendly is underrated. Bolivia is the worst team in CONMEBOL. Venezuela is perfect to prepare for teams like Colombia/Peru.
What we need to understand is theres only so much prep we can do for a Brazil/Argentina. A lot of it is luck and depending on the day. When we played Argentina it wasnt our day because with a bit of luck we had a penalty/two headers that could have been goals. Playing Venezuela helps us prepare for Peru and Colombia in terms of their flow in a game.It even helps prep for Panama/Honduras possibly.
These Russia/Serbia etc friendlies are so essential to us getting 2nd spot in our group.
We need to act in November as well once CAF qualifying is done and get a friendly with an African team in our pot. Preferably Ivory Coast or Senegal.
We should also take advantage of ignorance about Iran. When the draw happens in December. I doubt enough teams know how different we are to Saudi in playing style, which is a shame. The moment the draw ends we should sent instant emails/calls to the three countries they are grouped with.Comment

Venezuela is a very good team and very underrated.
Thier problem in the WCQ was that they didn't know how the win games , they had 7 draws out of 18 matches
They are better than Bolivia,Equador and maybe even ParaguayComment
