That's pretty awesome. Stop by sometime at Persian Oriental Rugs on Johnson Ferry and grab some chai. I work there sometimes with my uncles. One of which is Nasser Golshani's brother.
He always has some amazing old TM and Taj pictures of Nasser Hejazi.

I live in Bay Area but visit socal frequently bc lot of family there. Whenever I go on the weekend I play pickup and farshid Karimi plays there. Despite being a gk he is significantly better than most in the field( Gol koochik) he really has a powerful strike lol

Mohammad Mohammadi (former PP/SS goalkeeper) used to live in Orange County/LA. Don't know if he still lives there.

A while back I saw a video of an old Azadegan league highlight match and we had a player named Zarbali Talebi. He used to play for Shamoushak Noshahr. I just wanted to know if he is still ok. He made me to laugh so hard after hearing his name! Do you have any news about this fella?

Daniel Davari and Mehrdad Beitashour just vanished from Team Melli after going to the 2014 World Cup.

With their age it's rare to be in the World Cup squad and never get called up again.

Davari had a huge decline in his form, he barely got playing time after a while, and he had very weak performances in TM (although they were limited). Beitashour is surprising though, he has continued to perform very well in the MLS

What a stacked team we had.

Rahman Rezaei was overrated, how this guy ended up in Italy is just beyond me, his main advantage was winning aerial battles and adding physical presence, other than that, his positioning was terrible sometime. Same as Zandi(as much as i like the person), not good CM or DM, didn't have enough speed to play as wingers(where he played a lot), his only advantage was being left footed and good enough on free-kicks.
I rate our wingers and forward core much better than 2006 even. The only issue is our defensive midfielders are no where close to Ando-Javad duo.

What a incompetent coach we had.
