I dont really understand why pp fans and players are complaining about the ref. Both teams had their chances to win even in penalties. Didn't really play a factor in the outcome of the match.

I had a feeling SN might pull it off. They are always that sneaky team with very underrated talent on their team.
The foreign players on SN is probably the best in all of Iran

Hazfi Cup is the last thing that should be on these players' minds. they need the rest. No one gives a shit about Hazfi Cup.

Originally posted by Amin_ View PostDude, that's just how it is in football! You can not just say "oh well the referee made a mistake afterwards, so it's all fine and even".
Imagine this scenario:
Two teams X and Y are tied 0-0 until the 80th minute and the game is pretty even. Then the referee makes a huge blunder after which team X gets a goal. Now team Y's moral is gone, they have to change their tactics and game plan, sub players in/out, take more risks etc.
So after the huge ref mistake giving team X the oh so important first goal, team X profits from all these factors and extends their lead to 5-0.
Now in the 93rd minute of the game after everything is already over, one of the linesmen makes a mistake after which it becomes 5-1. So, a totally unsignificant goal in comparison to the 1-0. Now, can we afterwards start saying "well the referee team made a mistake on both sides, so it's all even now"?! Hell no! Because the mistake leading to 5-1 is certainly not the same as the mistake leading to the decisive and crucial first goal scored!
The ref in the Sanat Naft game was bad also and made misstakes, this time mostley in favour of Sanat Naft.
I hope Esteghlal wins the cup so we have a good team in AFC CL next year.
The thing is that we all know that they dont want another derby in the final so every year they try to eliminate PP or SS, this time it was PP..

I know it's only Iran Javan, but I'm not even kidding when I say that this game should have ended at least 10-0 or higher for Esteghlal. Lost count how many opportunities only Ghorbani and Esmaeili wasted.
We really lack a natural killer upfront.Persian Pride running through my veins!
Esteghlal for life!!

Second, they need to bring back the 2 leg home-away games rather than a one game final in a random city since fans won't really travel.
