It's not official yet. They are going to give a final verdict tomorrow they said.
Anyway, apparently Khooneh be Khooneh officials "ghahr kardan" after they failed to make it to PGL in the last playing round. Their Malek Bashgah, Ghasem Hassanzadeh, apparently was upset, blamed IFF for their shortcomings and decided to forfeit altogether.
However, it's now being speculated that there are 2 scenarios in case Khooneh be Khooneh really forfeits:
1) Esteghlal Khoozestan, whom lost the semi-finals against Khooneh be Khooneh, will take their place.
2) Esteghlal will win the Hazfi without playing a final game, which they said is not a likely scenario.
When asked about the rule of not showing up means 3-0 loss it was said that that is the case when a team doesn't show up much closer to a game, rather than a few days before a match, like Khooneh be Khooneh has done now (wasn't aware of this strange rule, but ok). All in all, we'll have to wait and see, but as it looks like now, there will be a final match, whether Khooneh be Khooneh or another team (most probably Esteghlal Khoozestan).Persian Pride running through my veins!
