When I was a student in the USA, I also knew several Iranian students who received money. Iran was under hostage crisis so there was no or very little support from American universities for us. Many of Iranian students went through times in America. Reza Forz... was one of three students who became known for receiving money. The bastard purchased a new red Cadillac while we walked or took the bus in cold winters. Reza Forz... stayed in the USA.
Also, there were several Iranian students who supported IRI. Some of them even did not finish and returned to Iran to get a good job. One of them was or is Asgar S. from Isfahan. Ten years later after he returned to Iran, I met him at 4am at Mehr-ababd airport in Tehran. I recognized him from his Isfahani accent. I called him Asghar, he did not recognized me. However, later he did and tried to avoid me.

We also ave traitors both during Shah and under IRI who benefited themselves. I followed Asghar S. He is still at Isfahan University, the main campus and the university gave housing and decent salary. He married and has three children. I also ran into him in Bazaar in Isfahan. I called him by his name, I made him to be ashamed of his past, but it seemed to me he was not bothered.
