In Iran, even talking about and exposing the football mafioso is great IMO.

There Is only soo much a coach and players can do. With out federation support, there never be success.

He speaks the truth. He called out the IFF members on any Football TV Show to have a debate with him.

Of course none of them will have the jewels to debate against the truth lol.

The problem with Karimi is that he's happy to expose and talk bad about corruption in football yet he is the first to take jobs when they come calling, e.g TM assistant job and the naft gig.

It's obvious now that he simply can't work in that environment, he should at least do something useful like Mahdavikia and start a footballing school or something like that.

What is corrupt about accepting jobs at Team Melli or Naft? As he said in the interview he doesnt think of Iranian football as corrupt per se.
Also it seems that he was bullied out of all three coaching jobs he took. Nekounam pushed him out of the TM and Khooneh be Khooneh jobs respectively, and Derakhshan and his gang pushed him out of Naft.

At least he got a few games at Naft for everyone to witness the great improvements he implemented in a very short period. He makes a great coach even on an Iranian license, but I agree that he still should go back to Germany to get a proper coaching education. It is not too late. And then he shouldnt stop trying to find another job. One club out of all Iranian clubs will always be decent and not mafia run.
Opening a football school like Mahdavikia is really hard and takes a lot of investment only to get returns after years.

Karimi Just passed his baptism by fire.
He took over Sepidrood in a very dire situation, and despite very little resources he lead them out of the relegation zone and saved them. The circumstances couldn't have been tougher, and yet he proved that he is indeed a talented coach with a great future ahead. Also not to disregard the head coach emamifar, another great Iranian coaching talent. The two make a great duo.

After the season starting as unlucky as possible, he didn't give up, he took a risk and it all payed off. He made his breakthrough as a coach and also he succeeded with his verbal moves. The media has been treating his team with way more respect and more and more other football personalities are following suit also speaking up against the oppression in Iran.
Ironically Naft Tehran who mistreated him earlier this season, are relegating.
So all in all it was a very successful season for him. Bravo and congratulations.
