It was a generally good game by our boys, too bad we lost concentration from the 70th minute. Mazaheri made decent saves, I want him to start the next game as well.

great friendly for us. Venezuela was a good test. Amiri minus the last ten minutes proved himself well. Ghoddos showed his technique and ability yet again with a fantastic ball to amiri before the goal ( pre assist). PAG was very good in the middle and won everything. Imani was good in moments and showed quality in the middle, but just gave it away pathetically at times. Hajsafi was better than usual at left back, had some good blocks, especially one that saved a certain goal.
Mazaheri was very strong. His kicking was only weak point. Next two friendlies he needs to get at least 90 minutes in one of themComment

i think our tactics works much better vs teams that aren't 1touch and quick passing ..! although Panama couldn't match Venezuela's overall quality of Squad, they had far more success against us with the quick, 1 touch passing which our famous team pressing ra kheyli behtar khonsa kard..!Comment

Imoni is a not a right fit for this level of the game. It was obvious from the first time he played for the NT. He is too timid with small physique. May be ok for no pressure games, but that is not how teams play in international games.Comment

Reading some of the posts it seems that we have good insights from the friendlies and honestly this is the only thing that matters. Results are only secondary.

Azmoun was very weak. Looked somehow sick and unmotivated, didnt run after any lost ball and was gassed out after 20min on the pitch.
AJB had a good game, really motivated to Show that we can Count on him.
Ali Karimi was really weak, his passing is terrible no wonder they didnt let him Play in Zagreb. Definetely not WC material.
Seyed Jalal showed once again that he is one of our biggest assets.
Gucci was ok. nothing Special.
I dont know why so many of you guys praise Ezatollahi for me he is far away even from being a bad shadow of Nekounam 2. This guy is just tall and good looking. No wonder they dont make it in Europe.
Overall good start but awful game with many mistakes that have to be punished. CQ better get your Team together before 2018 if they start like this Saudi Arabias 0:8 will soon be replaced in Football historyComment

I didn't see the first half, but it looks like we had consistently created chances throughout the entire game.
Jalal hosseini saved us YET AGAIN. The guy is a legend.
Mazaheri was tested more in his minutes today than beiranvand was in 4 Asian WCQ games.
He did well against all shots and attacks. He just made a mistake on his kicks which I'm sure he can fix.
He looks much more focused and sharp than beiranvand.
The goal was fantastic and it looked to me that our players were very effective in distributing the ball and building up attacks.
Can somebody tell me what the "actual" formation looked like, I started watching around minute 48
