Ughhh being an Iran football fan can be quite frustrating. We have to wait till the games actually start on the pitch to be assured it’s taking place, and even so, we still won’t know if the matches will be broadcast.

Having said that is the live broadcast confirmed? I would hate myself and IFF if I wake up at 5:30 am only to find out that there is no live TV coverage.

Hm if you really want to break it down, yes you're right, but in short it's a variation on a 4-3-3. The reason why he's using this formation is because a regular 4-3-3 turns into a 4-5-1 when defending. The same formation we played with against Argentina.

Pending remaining Injury-free, CQ wingers are Dejagah and Ghodos, players like Amiri and even JB are squad players.
For me, places for CQ to decide on are the goalie, one of the Centre backs, one defensive midfielder, only because of Saied being unable to start the first game in the WC.

The fact is that Team Meli defends so well as a unit that Beiro hasn’t really been tested yet. In the game against Syria, he was and we know the score. As we prepare for tougher opponents (one hopes), I hope he is tested more. I’m not convinced?

no, ghoddos is too new to the team, and after watching now some of his games, is average at best (absolutely not what many members here described him). but he is going to get his minutes, we need him, dont have a good bench. even if alireza doesnt have a good time now i think he has 99% his position in the first 11
