Not watching but if we are holding our own against Rondon/Peñaranda and co that means our players would not have a problem defending against them if they were in EPL playing against West Brom or in La Liga vs Malaga.

first half evaluation

is one of the best tm first half permonces i have seen in a while....we control the game, we should have scored but we didnt however our midfileld play very well, jahanbaksh ,dejagah and ezaolahi playing good, gucci doing well, we made a couple of mistake at defense but we have a strong bench, we can bring in azmoun, ghodos , i am happy, we are playing excellent

So impressed with Ezzatolahi, Karimi and Dejagah in the middle who are running the show at the moment. Jahanbakhsh is finally being positive and productive. Rezaeian getting forward well.

Good fast pace game from Iran probably some of the quickest football I've seen played by Iran. Guys also do well to recover the ball and fight for each other. Beiranvand with a horrible clearance on an aerial ball that almost resulted in a goal if it wasn't for Hosseini clearing the ball off the line. Also I think Ghoddos will take Amiri's spot before the world cup. Ghoddos is much more composed and technical on the ball.
