    - Branko is a very mediocre/poor manager who has no true tactics

    - Seyed Jalal Hosseini is the greatest thing to happen to Persepolis

    - Beiranvand does not deserve to go to the WC

    - Moharrami is a special player and it's hard to believe he didn't get called up (although I would keep Beitashour; I would replace Moharrami with Aghaei, Khanzadeh, or Ansari)

    - Bashar Resan and Mohsen Mosalman are being held captive on the bench in favor of garbage players like Vahid Amiri and Ahmadzadeh.
For anyone who missed the game this is all you need to see...couldn’t have said it better myself

I watched the whole game live. To say the least, it was nerve racking experience.

When Branko was national team manager, I said that he was not a good coach. I still believe he is not a good coach. His substitutes in this game came too late. I do not understand why Mosalman does not get to play. Persepolis of Iran should have finished this UAE team much earlier.

Iranian football teams need to be at world level similar to our Beach soccer and Futsal. Cheers.

Sadegh Moharammi is probably as good as Vouria if not better, the guy will have a bright future if he soon moves to Europe.

Branko is a great coach relative to Iranian football, and he is an average coach when it comes to international level.

Agreed...he will be a big part of TM after the summer I’m pretty disappointed he wasn’t in the 35 man prelimary roster but I am confident he will get his chance soon

Look like Moharami joining Dynamo Zagreb, seems like a done deal:

I still can not believe Queiroz did not invite Moharrami. He is a special talent and I am happy for him to join Dynamo Zagreb. Kid is only 22.

Yeah, from what I know there will be a draw to determine the QF matches. That means that it can also be Esteghlal vs. PP if Esteghlal advances tomorrow.

                    Esteghlal for life!!

Exactly, I don't know what people expect. He won twice the league and made it to the Acl semis. He's for sure not a world class coach and has flaws but still the best we could get.

I don't wanna see any Daei, Peyrovani, Derakhshan and Co back. And for those who think we can bring a better foreigner coach, you're just fooling yourself, just look at the past foreigners we had. The only decent coach was denizli and we didn't win shit with him

Al Jazeera coach's translator wouldn't translate some things at the post-match press conference.
The reporters asked why, and the translator said he can't because its rude.

Maybe he said he doesn't want to coach some fucking grassroller team but a good team instead?
